Apple Watch Release: Final Details & Prices
We were with Apple in San Francisco covering the "Spring Forward" Apple Watch release event live: we've now updated this article with the latest details. In the event, Apple CEO Tim Cook said "the Apple Watch is the most advanced timepiece ever created." Let's see how that translates into reality and wrap up all the details of the Apple Watch. In September 2014, Apple debuted its upcoming smartwatch - the Apple Watch - in a landmark event that really acted to tease the tech and watch world. Apple revealed enough about the Apple Watch to get everyone excited, but failed to discuss some of the most important elements about the Apple Watch, such as price details for all the models, battery life, and how the Apple Watch would fully integrate into the Apple software and hardware ecosystem outside of it needing to pair with an iPhone. In fact, one of my personal biggest questions regarding Apple Watch ownership is how easy will it be to own two which are synced together? Let's say you want an
Piaget Limelight Love Letter Secret Watch For A Perfect Valentine's Day
It's true. Get this watch for your special lady and she won't have anything to complain about. If she does, then I'd suggest giving the watch to another woman...any other woman. Say you are an uptight guy, and saying those three little words doesn't come as easy as you would like. Maybe the whole tone of the Hallmark-iday just doesn't leave a romantic taste in your mouth. Well you can buy your way out of this pickle, because dammit, she is going to expect too many loving words after receiving this gift. So why I am posting this ON Valentine's day? A little to late you think. Well you will need to mull this one over until next year maybe cause it is certainly an investment. Or maybe you didn't get anything yet today and probably need to buy yourself out of?? some femme-anger.This is one of the Piaget Limelight Love Letter Secret watches (pictured is Ref.?? G0A34100). There are slight modifications to this design each year, but you get the idea. Pretty clever little number. The watch cas
Introducing The Hamilton Khaki X-Wind Limited Edition, Complete With Drift Angle Calculator
It was a Hamilton watch used on the first US postal service flight between Washington and New York, so aviation is nothing new to the brand. The new Hamilton Khaki X-Wind Limited Edition includes two main features that can be especially helpful in flight: a chronograph function, of course, and something a bit more esoteric: a drift angle calculator. Sure, it's not a complication you're going to need on a daily basis (unless you're a pilot, of course), but it's certainly an interesting addition nonetheless.?The Khaki X-Wind is part of Hamilton's larger collection of pilot's watches. At first glance, the watch has a particularly industrial look due to the multi-level dial with two-tone brushed metal detailing. Each of the three chronograph registers features stylized metal overlays complemented by detailing around the day and date aperture at 9 o'clock. This doesn't make for the best legibility, but it does give the watch a distinctive style. 2 OF 4 What really sets the X-W
ROC chrono actuation
ROC owners,Couple questions:- How do the chronograph subdials actuate on your watch? I just got my ROC (25860)back from service and noticed that chrono subdials sweep rather than tick. I think they used to tick in a swift motion upon completion of a minute (30 mins for the hour dial), but I could be wrong. Also, hour chrono dial move early at 25 mins rather than 30. Can somebody post or point me to a video of chrono actuation?- What happens if I leave the chronograph running all the time to use its long hand as a second hand? Would it harm the watch in any way? Thoughts?I just got my royal oak chrono back from Clearwater sevviing.
Incoming - Rolex GMT Master 2
Just picked up this from my AD. I have always wanted a GMT watch in my collection. SS Rolex are hard to come by but I am happy my AD come good on this. I have the option of getting the BLNR but choose this instead. I prefer it's more understated appearance and love that green GMT hand. Very Rolex. Will make a good pair with my DD40 YG. Haven't got time to do more proper shots so this is quick snapshot.
