A Guide to Super Compressors
The term “Super Compressor” is one that is quite often misused these days. Most people associate Super Compressor (SC) with any watch that has dual crowns and an internal rotating bezel, but it’s not that simple. Super Compressor is a trademarked name for specific case designs made by the case manufacturer Ervin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA). They designed a patented case sealing method that actually became more water tight the deeper the watch went. The deeper you went, the more pressure was applied to the case-back, pressing it against the O-ring gasket. Most of the SC case-backs have a spring on them, so that the back was tight without being completely compressed against the case. With increasing water pressure, the back was pressed further against the case increasing water resistance. Another advantage of this configuration is that the O-ring did not have full pressure on it constantly, extending its life. Most SC watches were rated to a depth of 600ft.counter-clockwise fro

Sized, Sealed & Delivered! (My new PO)
After being in the market for a new swiss watch, I fell in love with the 42MM b&w PO (2201.50). I'm really glad I was able to get my hands on one. Attached are some photos. Have a great weekend, cheers!
rolex is growing on me
I always had a dislike for rolex. I thought of it as a flashy/snobby/overpriced watch. I had my sights on other watches like omega, panerai, and zenith. The entire time however i always wanted a submariner. I had a love for dive watches and the sub seemed to be the best dive watch for the money. I said it would be my first and only rolex I would buy. 4 months ago I started my search and was in the market for a submariner. Although on my quest I fell in love with the Daytona. Not realizing the market I thought I could just walk into an AD and buy one for msrp. Boy was I wrong. So back in september I pulled the trigger and bought my first rolex a submariner. Now I have a new found love for rolex . I went from telling myself I would never buy a rolex besides the sub ND to planning my next rolex purchase. Now my list stands at 3 watches I want:Submariner (Sept '17)Daytona-C Black SS (???)GMT Master 116710BLNR (???)when will this bug stop? On a positive note, watch for an inco
Tudor bracelets
Bought my first Rolex an SD4C a year ago, love it.Just flipped my Breitling Navi world and bought a DJ41 love that too, although I did have to buy 2 extra links for correct fitI still have an Omega Planet Ocean which I really like as a daily but I have a yearning for a Tudor BB especially the S&G probably on leather. So I tried on both the steel and leather bracelets and neither fitted on maximum adjustment which I found weird especially on leatherHas anyone else had this problem?
