Introducing: The F.P. Journe Limited Edition Steel Set, Celebrating The End Of 38 MM With Something
For a brand that has only been around for a little over 16 years, F.P. Journe has developed a sizable following among serious watch collectors. As such, every subtle variation, nuance, and change is noted with great interest. Today’s announcement celebrates one such change – and in a very dramatic way. When the brand started selling watches back in 1999, F.P. Journe watches were only available in 38 mm cases. A few years later the 40 mm size was introduced and the majority of watches to follow were available in both case sizes. The 38 mm was the traditional choice of purists, but things change. From now on, watches in the Journe collection will only be available in 40 or 42 mm cases (with the exception of the Chronometre Bleu, which is still 39 mm). 1 OF 12 To commemorate the end of 38 mm watches, F.P. Journe has unveiled a box set of five watches, and here’s the awesome part – they in 38 mm stainless steel cases with bronze-colored dials! Discoun
Panerai Launches Luminor Base Logo Acciaio PAM 00634 Special Edition For The 15th Anniversary Of Pan
It's one of the best known, most dynamic, sometimes unruly but always passionate places for watch enthusiasts: Paneristi, and for 15 years it's been not only a place to come talk about watches, and about the common love its members have for Panerai, but also a place where you can feel a real sense of community and even family. Paneristi was started by Guy Verbist in 2000, and though it has a long and close relationship with Panerai it's always remained completely independent – and it's that independence and the dynamism it engenders that's endeared Paneristi to both its members and to Panerai itself. 1 OF 6 2 OF 6 3 OF 6 4 OF 6 To help celebrate the 15th anniversary of the site, Panerai has created a special edition watch: the Luminor Base Logo Acciaio 44 mm, PAM 00634. This will be a limited edition of 500 units and available to Paneristi through Panerai boutiques only (check out the announcement on Paneristi for details). I

Would you pay extra $ for a Daytona with flyback?
Just a random thought after seeing some dressier chronographs with flyback capabilities..With the daytona being a sport watch geared for automotive racing wouldn't a flyback function be a logical and useful complication? Would an increase price be justified with this added complication? I don't think Rolex has ever made a flyback...right? Perhaps they are working on it...obligatory daytona picture:
