Any first hand experience with the ROO Blue Diver
Anyone own or at least have some firsthand experience with the blue Diver? I'm looking at options since the CE is too difficult to find and I'm curious on how it looks in person.
1st AP journey (pic heavy)
Decided to get my first AP and this forum was an immense help to me in terms of inspiration, drool-worthy pics, and heavy-handed enablement. A lot of research and deliberation went into my decision, and I wanted to share some pictures during my journey across 1 boutique and a few ADs. I had a predisposition to the black Diver, thinking that with the 42mm size, dial legibility, and SS bezel it'd be a no-brainer for either formal or casual. I also have a 6.25 wrist and having tried a Panda once only to think it looked comical on my arm, I was all set with my decision. Started with the Ti44. I tried this on a whim, not really thinking it'd fit me. Numerous people had told me I'd look silly wearing it with a blazer/suit. The timepiece looks like a high-tech machine but the rubber strap gives it casual, sporty look. The light weight of the titanium was instantly well received, and the strap felt comfy enough to handle all future desk diving it would potentially endure. In addition, I was ab
Obsession??????
Well guys this is the second time that I make a question about this strange star like form hallmark in my Seamaster, thanks to JJ & Delldeaton who kindly reply to my post & PM. Anyways, for me is a very interesting mark. Ive been guessing that maybe if this is the only one with this mark its make a one of the kind watch, I dont think that this is a non factory hallmark because is to centralize and it looks the same size and deep as the serial # on the watch. I wonder if you guys could check your watches, just to see if they have something similar. I also send some e-mails to Omega but they dont answer, I imagine how much e-mails they receive daily asking stupid questions. Anyone of you know what can I do to investigate about this?? who and where to call?? I honestly dont know where to start. I just keep wondering, do I have an obsession with this mark, or I have a point here???The serial # of my watch is 60174674, I think could be from 1998 or earlier. Just in case if someone h
Patek phillipe strap with bucherer
Hi guys, new to this forum, am completely newbie in regards to watches.I plan to buy this watch as a gift for my sibling graduation, for my budget, i am just planning on getting some entry series. So, i browsed some online shop and saw a watch that is to my liking, but i noticed that at the metallic stuff in the strap, there is Bucherer written there.I did google the bucherer and found out that they are a large reputable seller. However, is their strap as valuable as patek strap? Is their strap any good? Is it possible for an authenthic watch to have that in the metal? Lastly, will it cost me alot to replace it with something that write Patek on it?Sorry for the long and numerous questions, many appreciation and thanks in advance.
White dial aquanaut?
Hey guys, I haven't really posted anything in the patek forum yet, but months of looking at all of your pics have sunk in to the point that I'm on the wait list for a blue dial 5711 at my local AD.I went back and forth for some time between the aquanaut and the nautilus. I like everything about the aquanaut, but having several black dial watches (1675, speedie pro, explorer 1), I ultimately decided to go for the blue/black dial nautilus to add some variety to the collection. My question is this - do you guys think there might be a white dial aquanaut in the near future? I know I know, nobody knows what pp will release next, but was curious if anyone else was thinking that would be a great combination.
