Two tone Royal Oak 56175
Hi folks,I've seen a a quartz Royal Oak two tone for €2850,- which to me is affordable.However I'm not too sure about the state of this watch (no box & papers either..), it seems to be a bit over polished at the bezel..juwelierburger/NL/web...derBy=&sortBy=I know the seller and I live rather close this store so I'll check the watch out this week.
Finally a watch that moved me away from Rolex......
It's been about 10 years since I've worn anything other than Rolex.....well, ok, I did buy a Tudor a few years back but it's like they're cousins, right?So after noticing this watch years ago, never trying one on, last Friday I buy this!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1456800691.278096.jpgAnyone care to guess? Just strayed from Rolex for the first time. I love this watch. Haven't worn my normal daily DSSD for a month. I got White Gold so as not to be too flashy in corp environment plus working on .gov contracts in sales. Not sure I would have gone yellow gold anyway now that I have some wrist time on it. Was between this and a skydweller, possibly Aquanaut. Stock photo because I don't want to deal with image upload site. Who else has one and any issues to look out for? Watch just came out of warranty. Thanks

Combo Rolex vs custom ABP for Daytona
Lucked out and found a brand new, stickered 116509 panda dial on strap at an AD. Had meant to pick one up when the discontinued the dial, but had other commitments at the time and had to pass.The standard strap it comes on is a bit too loose for my liking, even with the clasp adjusted. I know some members have had similar issues and ended up buying the short strap and then mixing the two for a better fit and centered clasp. For those folks - was the colour and grain match between the straps good? Just wondering because the straps would presumably be coming from different dye lots and hides.The other option would be to get a custom strap from ABP Concept. Price wise, not too far off and their reputation seems good.Any input and/or photos regarding either option would be appreciated.
