Older ROO Navy?
Anyone have th older style ROO Navy, white with the blue subdials. I've been thinking about picking one up for a summer piece, looking for some enabling.
AP Quality Control
Hi All, apologies for the following rant, but just needed to vent. Recently I've become quite interested in purchasing a Royal Oak Chronograph. I finally found one yesterday and was ready to pull the trigger, when I noticed a very obvious scratch on one of the sub dials. The sales representative was very embarrassed and apologetic. He took my details and promised to call when they would get the next one in. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call later in the evening from the store, stating that they were expecting another one in this morning. The rep was extremely helpful and kept the watch sealed until I arrived. He let me open it and even removed the stickers for me to inspect it properly before purchasing. I tested the chronograph, and to my dismay the pusher got jammed, and neither me, the rep or his manager were able to stop or reset the chronograph. It's safe to say I'm really disappointed with my experience with AP so far. I thought I was very lucky to find a stainless ste
Panda Bracelet link removal
Hi : Just received my Panda back from APCS Clearwater. It was in for repair (date wheel) and 3rd year warranty ext. I need to remove one link, must have lost wt while watch was away for 3 weeks!! Do I need to go to a AD or due it myself? Do I use Loc Tight or not? Thanks for your comments.Larry
Simple question: Speedy Pro or Sapphire Sandwich?
Local AD has a sale going on where I get 20% off (end of year clearance-not under the table discount). OK all you enablers out there, as I seriously ponder my next acquisition with some time pressure, which is it? Acrylic or Sapphire?I am an AD loyalist, so trusted resellers are not an option on this one. I want BNIB and local relationship with AD.I know the merits have been argued endlessly, but how often do I get to buy a new watch? Therefore, a fresh thread.Thank you for all responses in advance!
Black Bay 32 (new), 36, & 41 come in BLUE!
While I'm absolutely NOT shocked at the additions of the Black Bay variations, since they seem to be the popular kids on the block, I'm thrilled they added blue to the lineup of the 32 (new this year), 36 & 41. I tried on the 36mm in black & thought it was quite comfortable. At the time I thought, oh too bad it didn't come in blue. LOL Got my wish! Now I just hope I like this blue color! I didn't like the blue on the Style, was too dark, almost black in some lighting. So.. for someone who wants a blue dial watch & doesn't want to spend that much on it, it's a definite possibility. It's sporty, it's casual, no bezel so can be dressed up, it's a nice watch for the money. PS... The hands aren't that prominent when you have the watch on. LOL That's the ONLY thing I would want changed. If I don't like the blue, I have back up options. LOL Don't we all. https://.tudorwatch/watches/black-bay-32-36-41I might be alone in this, anyone else like the watch?
