New Poll: 5990 vs 5980
Although I did not start the earlier thread--- There were a lot of requests for a new poll... which one do you prefer--- 5980 vs 5990? If you already own or are currently considering.. or if you had to pick which one? Has your mind changed over time? 5990 on the left and 5980 on the rightMe: Like both but own and still would select the 5990.
Buying an unsealed watch
To the knowledgeable PP lovers-I'm purchasing my first Patek and have a question. Is there a difference in purchasing a double sealed piece versus one that is already opened and available for trying on? Is there potential for a discount on a piece in the showcase versus a sealed safe queen? To clarify I'm buying from a PP AD. Thanks in advance.
Confused or is it fake?
I've been browsing for my first PP and noticed a few things with the Nautilus 3800 models especially in the gold/steel and gold models. It's like out of nowhere there are a few extremely cheap ones on Chrono. But it's only for this model and material so it seems. Here is the one that had me searching like crazy as to why it's so much cheaper than others .chrono24/en/patekphil...acturerIds=194I just don't get how a full gold watch can be sold for that price unless it's obviously a fake or plated but the seller is trusted with good score. Then there are a few of these two tone 3800s that are super cheap too and just don't get it. Can someone help educate me about these instances please? I'm not even really looking for a YG of anything unless it's a Calatrava but then yellow would be my least preferred. .chrono24/en/patekphil...acturerIds=194Thanks for looking and hopefully there is a perfectly good explanation for the odd pricing compared to the other Nautilus models.
