The new Speedmaster Date 3210.50 arrives . . .
Well, my new Speedmaster Date 3210.50 arrived yesterday from my out-of-state AD. It's really pretty. I've got to get use to looking at the sub-dial at 9:00 o'clock for the sweeping second hand, but this watch is very cool. I sold my 36.2mm Railmaster, so now I have three Omegas (see my signature). As a point of interest, I have ordered COSC certificates, at 50 CHF per certificate, for my 36.2mm Railmaster (January), SM GMT (February) and my new 39.2mm Railmaster (March). Alternative bands with Seamasters?
I'd like to see some pics of seamasters with aftermarket bands that people like. I'm pretty new to the watch thing, and I plan on getting a Seamaster GMT as my first automatic watch. My conscience won't let me buy a Rolex until my house is payed off in a couple of years. I thought I might start with an Omega, and learn about Rolex over the next few years.david
Patek seal vs Geneva seal - Quality?
First off: I love my 5726 and so far have not had any faults that I have noticed or am aware of. Hi guys, does anyone know of any watch makers that repair ceramic bezels?I dropped my Submariner on a tiled surface some time ago and have my ceramic insert that was broken into 3-4 pieces stored away.It has now been replaced, but I was wondering if there is any method that could repair it in case my current one cracks?
