Close-Up: The New Bremont America’s Cup Collection
British watch brand Bremont which already this year began a partnership with Jaguar cars and had prominent placement in the big-budget spy thriller Kingsman has pulled off perhaps its biggest coup yet, announcing last week that it has been appointed as Official Timing Partner to both the 35th America’s Cup and the defending Cup champion, the Oracle Team USA. As with the Jaguar and Kingsman partnerships, the brand, founded by siblings Nick and Giles English, has also introduced an all-new collection of Bremont watches to commemorate the milestone. Here’s what you should know about them (the watches, not the English brothers, though they are also very interesting)…The Bremont America’s Cup collection is made up of two new watches, a simple three-hand-with-date and a bicompax chronograph. Both have 43-mm cases (constructed in Bremont’s signature “Trip-Tick” style) with chronometer-rated movements and maritime-inspired blued steel hands over iv
A. Lange & S?hne Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour Le Mrite Watch White Gold Boutique Edition
A. Lange & S?hne announced?the A. Lange & S?hne Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour Le Mrite in late 2010 (hands-on here), and at the time, it was pretty much the be-all and end-all timepiece in Lange's history. Sure, their hugely impressive Double Split and?a few other highly complicated pieces were also available, but even just the name of this new release?indicated that it was something even more special. Today, A. Lange & S?hne released?a new version of this remarkable piece, this time in a white gold case, available exclusively at the brand's boutiques around the world C with no word on it being a limited edition.Getting back to the name of the piece for just one more?moment, you see, A. Lange & S?hne named this watch after Richard Lange, subtly implying the watch's highly scientific nature. Richard was the son of F.A. Lange, the founder of the company, who worked as a?technical director of the manufacture, focusing?on evolving precision watchmaking on the basis of scie
Got my new Omega! Two-tone beauty...
OK guys,I have been searching long and hard and have come close a couple times to some Omegas that I thought I liked as a long term daily wearer but now that things have settled down at my work place I pulled the trigger on this beauty and picked her up in person from the seller this past Saturday.Seeing the pics had me drooling for this watch! I have never owned a Titanium watch before and have never had a two tone either though a watch with both has always appealed to me. The seamaster is my fave in the Omega line and I have owned many over the years. The bond version has never appealed to me as much as the 300m version with those beautiful sword hands. Now I have a watch that sports 18k red gold and is light as a feather titanium and I can not describe how beautiful this combination is on my wrist. The glossy black dial fits so well with the Ti and gold. The red accents of the timers and the tip of the chrono hand is just the right colour accent. The blazing brightness of the lume c

Daytona Wait List Experience
Afternoon, TRFI've been in the hunt for a new piece for a little while now and really have the hots for a steel ceramic Daytona. However, I'm not willing to pay the $4,000 to $6,000 premium for one on the gray or second hand market. What kind of time frame am I looking at by going through an AD? Also, when I ask to be placed on the wait list, how much deposit should I be expected to put down? Thanks for any help in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
