Panerai Luminor 8 Days Set Pays Tribute to Early Stallone Models
Twenty years ago, Hollywood action hero Sylvester Stallone commissioned a pair of watches from then-obscure watch brand Officine Panerai, and neither the brand, nor the watch world at large, has been the same since. Panerai marks this milestone at SIHH 2016 with a special, limited-edition set of two new watches inspired by the ones made for Sly in 1996.The Panerai Luminor 8 Days Set contains a pair of Panerai Luminor watches that bear the distinctive DNA of their forebears released one year before the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group (then known as the Vend?me Group) in 1997 and which quickly became collectors’ items yet also feature attractive modern twists. One of the watches, the Panerai Luminor Black Seal Left-Handed 8 Days (below), is the first iteration of that timepiece with the winding crown and patented, lever crown-protection device it on the left side of the case. AP 14802 Salmon
Of all the Jumbos I truly love the Salmon dial. I feel it's one of the perfect dress up/dress down version of the Jumbo. Anyone have a line on one of these bad boys? How much damage should I expect if ever I find one? TIA guys!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Airking 116900 like marmite?
I purchased a new Airking last year and was so close to selling or exchanging it for a submariner. However over the past few weeks it's grown on me and believe it will be a future icon. There is something special or unusual about this model that sets itself apart from the classic stainless steel models. Does the forum agree with me? I m interested in other options on the watch?
Need your input on this 114270 Explorer
Hi folks,I'm contemplating purchasing this 114270 Z Series Explorer and was hoping to get your opinion on a couple things.1. Based on the attached pictures, does everything check out? These are the best pictures I've been able to get from the seller thus far. To my eyes, the watch looks original, in honest condition, and not over polished.2. This seller does not have forum references, and has provided me with a few email addresses as references. These references have come out positive, but I'm still a bit wary and am hesitant to wire the funds. Would it be safe to use Paypal (goods & services) here? Anyone have experience recalling funds using this Paypal option if the deal goes south? Thanks so much for your input!
