Hey all, just wanted to get your thoughts on quality control at Omega. After a long wait and a significant deposit I finally received a 60th anniversary speedy. After liberating it from that monstrosity of a bracelet it came on, I really enjoyed it for about two weeks until I decided to check out the dial under the loupe (sometimes I just like to admire them close up, you know?).I immediately notice a splotch of white paint, admittedly the size of a pin prick and basically invisible to the naked eye, but very prominent under the loupe, right in the center of the lume plot at 12.It's not even its presence that bothers me so much. Like I said, it's practically invisible without magnification. However, I keep having this image in my head of an omega watchmaker examining it through a loupe while affixing the dial, noticing it (as it's obvious), and thinking to himself oh no bother, they'll probably never notice. For a watch that cost over $7,000, can't I reasonably expect a little more att

PP 5990/1A Is it worth it?
Hi guys, need some help here. I first saw PP 5990/1A about a year ago. Immediately fell in love with it. But I ended up getting 2 other PP instead. 5712/1A and 5164/1A. Silly me, thought I will feel complete with these 2 watches. What do u guys think bout this piece? Is it too much to a SS? For that $ there are lots of choices out there. Do you think it's weird to have 2 Travel Time watch?

2018 Sub case change and impact on current SubC prices
The 14060 was made from 1990 - 2012 and the 16610 from 1987 - 2010, a 22 year and 23 year run respectively. If the case changes this year on the 114060 and 116610 then we're looking at a 6 year and 8 year run respectively on the current ceramics.As an owner of a 114060, I can't help but speculate as to what would happen if my watch is discontinued after a relatively short run of 6 years. I hope it will at least hold it's value, but am I wrong in thinking the watch becomes a rarity in modern Sub terms? Just got my second rolex!!!!!
After waiting 3 long years, I just purchased my second Rolex a few days ago. It's a pre-owned 16233 TT Datejust T series, silver dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. The watched was serviced by RSC in September of 2017 and carries a two year warranty, full set with original papers. I got a great deal on it from a local AD, and couldn't be happier!First time posting Pics, any suggestions will be helpful, thanks!
