A New Flagship: The Breitling Chronomat 01 Limited Edition
Just in time for the holidays, Breitling introduces a new flagship, the Chronomat 01 Limited Edition. At Basel 2009, Breitling debuted the Chronomat 01 with the Caliber 01 manufacture movement, developed and produced at the brand’s workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Now Breitling ups the ante with limited steel and red gold versions. Find prices and wallpaper inside. The Chronomat 01 Limited Edition will be produced in a series 2,000 pieces in steel and 200 in red gold, both on bracelets, each piece with its individual number engraved on the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The case is also distinguished by subtle contrasted finishing C satin-brushed on the top and polished on the sides. Both the steel and gold versions feature a black dial adorned with applied hour-markers. Unlike the standard Chronomat 01 models which have solid casebacks, the Limited Edition models offer transparent sapphire crystal casebacks, providing optimal views of the in-house chronograph movement. The Chronoma
44 ROO strap change tools
Guys what tools do you use for strap changes?I've seen a few recommend the AP bands kit which is a Bergeon 1.4 screwdriver and their own brand 1.4 screwdriver block, is this kit any good?I know on my the Oyster bracelets they recommend hollow ground over the pointed so I use the ref:2100 rather then a standard Bergeon 1.6, is the tip type important on the AP?And I've never used a screwdriver block but guess it would be easier then trying to use two screwdrivers? Thanks in advance
entry level ap
rolex has the air-king and the date-just that are relatively accessible to a lot of people with a bit of savingdoes ap have a similar mode, ill be honest i don't know much about this brand but from looking at the pictures of here ive fallen in love.what would be the best ap to start out with, bottom of the pile you could say!
Nice AD gave me some gifts
Hi allJust a story I wanted to share, I had a short break in York (UK) and in the hotel I was staying at they had the following book in my room...I was obviously very pleased about that! Turned out the same book is in every room (so it was not special treatment lol). So inside the book it had the name of the local AD and obviously I had to visit wearing my Breitling Colt! They are a lovely bunch and they could see my knowledge and enthusiasm for the brand (I flashed my Patek wallet lol). I told them about the book in the hotel and they obviously knew all about that. I asked if they had a spare copy of the book and they said yes and popped it in a nice bag for me. We carried on talking, I tried on the 5119r and showed pictures of my collection. Then a lady put a box on the table and said we want you to have this. A lovely Patek Philippe tie!! I was overwhelmed, I have bought nothing from them ever. They even invited me to their private party in November where they are going to have some
PAM000 painted dial
I owned one of the last Base Logo which is the R serial before it was discontinued. It seems that Panerai has switched the sausage dial (embossed from the dial) to the painted dial on a recessed surface to the dial similar to PAM510 / 560 / 590.Was this changes made only towards the end of the production? Or has it always been in this dial but due to the viewing angles of the photo in the internet it looks as if the dial was embossed. Anyway I love the PAM000 that I have regardless of which dial it has. Now I know why a lot of people love the Zeros. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
