Jacob & Co. Billionaire Watch For Flavio Briatore Is $18.3m
The 2015 Jacob & Co. Billionaire Watch is a one-of-a-kind timepiece produced with Italian businessman, fashion label owner, and Formula 1 personality Flavio Briatore. It turns out that the watch was done with him, rather than for him, as an item with his Billionaire brand logo on it. As a manifestation of sheer luxury and excess, timepieces like this often live in a vacuum, with us learning about them, but having only guesses as to the type of people who own and buy them. This is one of the rare instances where the type of person who likes this type of timepiece participated with the brand who made it and publicly exclaimed "yes, I had them make me that watch." Finally, we can start to shed light on the all to common question of "who wears this stuff?" Italian business people like Mr. Briatore are who.Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo is one of the most interesting and controversial characters of the modern watch industry, and to a similar degree, so is Flavio Briatore in his res
Can't get the ROC panda out my mind
Hi guys.it's been close to 8 months that the ROC Panda is in and out of my mind. I can't seem to get rid of it, even after buying and selling other watches, it's always coming back to the surface.I currently have a AP 15300 white dial and a Rolex 116610LN in the collection. Looking for a third piece I wanted to add a chrono, for the look of it. For accurate timing I use an Rubidium atomic clocking device linked to GPS synch, so the sole reason of the chrono is to time my steak on the grill ;)So I care little for bph and absolute precision of the movement. I want something real nice and in house that would complement my collection. Do you think the 15300 and 26300 are too similar to be in the same collection ? Please share your ownership experiences and what you thinkIf you have some nice ROC shots, please share as well.Cheers
Two more AP articles
Hi guys, a couple more articles on AP, from QP magazine. These 2 are free to read, but you have to register. Quite a good read IMO .qpmagazine/default.as...=true#openHere.qpmagazine/Default.aspx?IssueID=1912
Need some quick help Thanks.
So I'm about to buy a speedy 3570.50 used from a trusted reputable seller on the forum here. So here's the deal Omega 3570.50 no box no papers. Overall watch is in good condition comes with the newer type bracelet with the screws instead of pins for links. I wire $2,650. I am okay with paying this. I just don't know if I am overpaying. eBay can't find one close for this price. So advice would be greatly appreciated as I am going to bank tomorrow afternoon. If I don't here from anyone I am going to assume no news is good news. All the best,Glenn
