Watch Magazines For Your Away From Computer Reading Pleasure
If you are into watches, then you spend a good deal of time online reading about, looking at, or shopping for watches. But you can supplement this time by looking at watch magazines. Yes, there are actually a good number of them. In fact, as watch enthusiasm draws some of the most artistic, mechanical, and style conscious fans, there is bound to be a good deal of well written print content on watches.Watch magazines are a good deal like car magazines in that each has a particular appeal while trying to remain general as well. Some are more "technically driven," discussing watch movements and innovations at length, while other magazines are more "style" or "lifestyle" focused. These latter options may appeal more to the casual watch enthusiast, and will most certainly include a few articles on other interests such as fine liquor and wine, cars, or travel. Technical watch magazines can easily bore readers by going into great detail with gear diagrams and the benefits of new techniques of
AP grand prix strap
Hi guys,Need help. Bought a OEM strap for my carbon GP, the size is XS 29.3/24. Is this the smallest size? I'm at the first hole and it's still quite loose. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
ATTN: Royal Oak 26320OR GOLD Bracelet Owners
Hey Guys,I'm a current 26320OR owner (on strap) looking go pickup a Royal Oak Gold Bracelet Chrono. Problem i'm having is i can't really judge how the watch will fit/look by trying on new watches at the AP boutique as there are so many extra links. I'm looking for a current Royal Oak Bracelet owner who has a small wrist and has taken links out of his watch to meet me in OC/LA. I will pay for your lunch and will even meet you at a bank/watch boutique or wherever you pick (because i know how shady this sounds lol). All i'm looking to do is to try on a bracelet watch that has been shortened to feel if its a good fit for me or not. Hope i can find someone local.
5170p - incoming
Many thanks to those who offered their thoughts and advice as I contemplated this purchase. I find this watch to be absolutely stunning. I always hoped for a blue dial, platinum 5170. Patek delivered at the 2017 Basel, but with a little curve ball. The dial (blue to black from inside out) is one like I've never seen. And the diamonds are not normally my cup of tea, but they truly are subtle and make the watch both dressy and fun. Here are a few initial pics, more to follow. *The plastic will be removed once I get home.
INCOMING... Limited Edition 1 of 5 (So I've been told)
I don't want to use the word grail because IMO that is reserved for an unattainable piece but throughout my short 10 years of collecting watches I think this piece may be very hard to top for Me. It was through dumb luck and daily EXCESSIVE reading of the forums that I came across the availability of this piece. Many, many, Thanks to my friend KarlS for putting me in touch with his AD. If it was not for him there is no way I would've obtained this beauty as it was sitting in an ADs safe sealed and unknown to most. To my knowledge they only made 5 of these pieces. Last year at the London Exhibition Patek re-released several retired models (5970-3970-5070-5050-5059-3940) in very small quantities. NOS movements and cases were used and never before seen dials were made for them. .salonqp/updates/watch...on-exhibition/ I always wanted a Patek Salmon Dial and when I read about these pieces on display at the Saatchi Gallery in London over a year ago I was just in awe but figured there
