2nd AP - 26400
Hi all, long time TZ'er, not so long over here. Just picked up my 2nd AP. First was a Safari which I ended up trading . . . . Second is this very nice pre owned 44mm. I will say I like it better than the Safari. The 44mm is nice, the ceramic bezel is spectacular and the display back is much better to look at. I do miss a bit all the 42mm band choices on the safari.Take carejim

US Price Increase - August 1
Got confirmation today from my AD that prices are going up in the US on August 1. No word on the percentage increase.

What's the deal with....
The resale price of Omega TT Double Eagle Constellations? I can't give mine away (well, not literally). Seems this watch was a HUGE bust for the company. Can't figure it out, it's a beautiful watch.

Patek 2017 Basel pieces (plus) viewing and some thoughts
I got I try on some real beauties last night at the Patek 2017 Basel pieces viewing, as well as some current production pieces. All were great. A small write-up of each. 5170p (Stunning on the wrist, and extremely comfortable. Great size and weight balance. The gradient blue dial is just perfect. And the baguettes are subtle, and beautiful. The movement is intoxicating). 5320g (Another beautiful 2017 release. The case and lugs are meticulously detailed. The vintage feel is not overdone, offering a nice balance of new and old. What to check after watch comes back from service
I recently got a pre-owned day-date (thanks to freefly and others for authenticating it) and based on my research in this forum, I decided to send it to Philip Ridley for service. My intent was to make sure watch has all the authentic parts and if there is any internal issue, I get to know about it. So far, everything went well and I'm expecting to receive my watch soon.Since, I'm new in Rolex world, I wonder what to look for when I receive it. I understand, I should check:1) Overall cosmetic condition2) Tally time- I'm planning to sync watch and my iphone and then check both of their times after 24 hours. Is there any better way to do this?Also, what else I need to look for when I receive it back?Thanks for your help.
