Hands-On: With The Blancpain Tourbillon Carrousel, A Combination Of Two Rotating Complications (Live Pics & Pricing)
This year is the 60th anniversary of Blancpain's legendary Fifty Fathoms dive watch collection, but at Basel World we caught sight of something completely different from the brand. The Collection Le Brassus Tourbillon Carrousel takes the aesthetic of the Villeret collection and adds two rotating escapements, a tourbillon at 12 o'clock and a carrousel at 6 o'clock. Not only is the watch captivating to look at, but it also gets more and more fascinating as you begin to notice all the little things that make it exceptional. 2 OF 25 Closer Look At The Blancpain Tourbillon Carrousel First off, it's important to understand what exactly separates a tourbillon from a carrousel, since they can look very similar to the naked eye. A tourbillon uses one source of power to both move the balance wheel and rotate the cage, while a carrousel uses two sources of power, one for the escapement itself and a second to regulate the rotation of the enclosure. Omega de Ville, lot of diamonds
I posted on the rolexforum about a vintage submariner I have. Now I know much more about Rolex and started to like my watch, and don't want to sell it anymore. Luckily I also have a Omega ladies which I can sell. Anybody know the +/- value of below watch? I'm looking for weeks on the internet for similar Omega watch, but cannot find.
Patek vs. Lange vs. JLC...
Hey PP lovers: Looks like I'm ready for another addition to the stable. Would appreciate some feedback.Quick description of my Pateks - two nautilus (5711 Blue and 5726 White), 5167, and 5205G Black dial.I'm debating between an annual calendar, a perpetual, and a special Lange.1: Patek 5936 WG. This beauty would compliment my 5205 well. A bit more classic, a white dial, and a slightly smaller size. Surprisingly I found the watch to wear somewhat larger than it's stated size as I think the thick bezel and nicely seized lugs of the calatrava case lend it some real pop. Add it a bright white dial and the watch has some real wrist presence. Potential negative: another 324 AC and maybe it's too much.2: JLc Ultra Thin Perpetual WG. Gorgeous dial, beautiful proportions, and slim and very elegant case. Movement finishing is somewhat pedestrian for the price but the watch is incredibly comfortable to wear and I particularly like the black nickel indices. Cheaper than the others too.

1997 Daytona 116520 Question
Can anyone tell me if the ends of the bracelet are hollow in these models? like the ends of the bracelet that touch the curve of the top and bottom of the bezel - is that hollow or solid in this model?thanks.
