Not Just a Phase: The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon
Hublot introduced a new landmark for the brand this January: its first moon-phase watch. The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon prominently displays the phases of the moon on its skeletonized dial. The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon places its moon-phase display just beneath the hands at 6 o’clock. The partially frosted subdial obscures the moon’s passage so that only its current phase can be seen. It shows two convex spherical moons, which appear and disappear in keeping with passage of the 29.5-day lunar month. This subdial is 13 mm in diameter.Around this subdial is a simple date display. To complete the calendar, the day and month are shown on two skeletonized disks in the top half of the dial, which turn to show their current values just beneath 12 o’clock. The case middle has four integrated buttons that can be used to correct the calendar. Clockwise from 2 o’clock, they modify the month, moon, date and day.The Aeromoon movement is HUB 1131, an automatic manufa
Rolex DJ vs AP ROO scratches?
Hi Guys,I know that scracthes add character to our watches, we need to enjoy wearing them without worrying about scratches, etc etc etc... But...I have a 6 months old Rolex DJ and 3 weeks old AP ROO. I wear them quite regularly. However problem is my Rolex doesnt have a single tiniest scracth. Compared to my ROO which now has a few tiny hairline scratches - which are only visible under certain angle.Wonder if ROO's do scracth easily? Do you guys find the same issue with your ROO's? Is Rolex known to be more durable or scratch-proof compared to APs?I do wear shirts with cufflinks, and this is the only thing that i'd suspect scratching my ROO - as i never bump/drop them. But yet again, not the case with my Rolex...Thanks!
RO Day and Date - anyone got one?
I'm considering a RO Day Date but am having trouble seeing one at an AD or even pics of one in the wild. Anyone have one and willing to share pics? Or even some feedback on it?It's between that and a 15300. Feel like I can't miss either way, but would love to see some pics of the Day Date.
Patek Boutique / AD survival skills
ok, as we all know the so called entry of Patek are 5167 and 5711but as we all know again, it seems like you can't find / buy a 5167 and especially 5711 blue dial at any Patek Boutique or ADneed to put our name and wait for like 3 yearsis just like cars, BMW need to sell more 3 and 5 series to sustain their business, is not like everybody buying a 7 seriesSo how do they survive? I don't feel like people just walk in and buy Grand Complications and Repeater on a monthly basis.just curious
Need help on 14060
I am looking at a 14060. The seller says it is A series (no box, no paper). I will see it by myself next week. But from pictures sent by the seller, its serial no. is A35xxxx. There is the word swiss under the marker at 6 o clock of the dial.My questions are1. Is the dial match with the serial no?2. What else to look for to see whether it is fake or not?Thank you.
