Watches NEWS
I had the same concern
New to AP having owned many Rolex and a few Panerai. Picked up a new Diver 15710 a week or so ago. Craftsmanship is outstanding. I am in love in every way except one. This watch is a constant 5-10 seconds (closer to 10) fast per day. Mind you I am not in the least bit OCD about my watches timekeeping but this guy is noticeably fast. Not to compare, but every Rolex I ever owned was spot on right out of the box and still so years later. My questions are: 1. Is this simply the nature of the beast? I see many complaints about this.2. Is there a break in period where I might expect the watch to adjust?3. Is there anything I can do to try to cause the watch to adjust?4. Should I send my new beauty to Clearwater for longer than I have owned it?Any expert help would be appreciated. Thanks

Watch Photos Part 7
Hi, Hope you all had a great Christmas break. After all the eating, I decided to take some photos of my latest Watch, purchased on the 21st December. Its the Aqua Terra Red Gold and Stainless Steel Chronograph on a Chocolate Brown Allogator Strap. The only problem is, with my macro lens I did see a small chip in the case side just as it joins the see through back, also the gold bezel seems a bit scratched, although I cannot see this one with my (not so good these days) eyes, I will be taking it back tomorrow to see what my (new) AD intends doing about it. Should I except a polish/refurb or demand a new watch, Your views very very welcome. Thanks as always Alan

I think the grey strap works well just wanted to read some of the people's opinions since, lots of people complain about non OEM straps don't hug the lugs of the case but I think it gives it a different look to the traditional rubber strap. I am at NY currently and as soon as I get back home I'll probably get another strap for the watch. Next to some PamsPreviously was on a nato strap
Good ole purchase advice.
Hello All: New member here but have visited the forum many times. Excellent. I am on the verge of trading my 5070g, with cash to boot, for a 5970R. I am also considering the original dial 5270g, as the prices have now fallen to level well below the 5970. I was hoping for some advice it general. I know these are very personal decisions but for me anyway, this is a significant amount of money. Thanks!
