Gronefeld One Hertz Dune Watch
This "One Hertz Dune" is an 18k red gold version of Gronefeld's One Hertz 1912 Dead-Beat Seconds watch. "Dune" is added to the name and I think the new color tones on the watch really give it a new personality. This isn't just a gold version of the One Hertz, but a different piece with a more sultry personality. Interestingly enough, this red gold version will be limited to 20 pieces, while the steel version was limited to just 12 pieces - usually the more precious the metal, the less pieces in the limited edition.Read more about the watch and movement here when I first discussed the Gronefeld One Hertz 1912 timepiece.
5235G - how do owners find it?
I am due to take delivery of my 5235 shortly and just wanted to know how some of the other owners of this reference find this watchhow is the dial and movement - are they both up to Patek standard?do the case proportions makes sense or is it a bit too thick?is it easy to tell them time (both due to the regulator and the fact that the dial is very shiny.Has anyone ever regretted buying one - if show why?Would be good to hear first hand user experience.Thks
Panerai PAM 311K
Hi, guysi have an opportunity to get a Pam 311K on a trade. I have been thinking of getting my first panerai but i dont know anything about them and still learning. What would be a first basic Panerai to own. How can i learn more about 311K and how good of a seller are they. Sometimes i do tend to flip watches quickly. Thanks in advance.
Why are BLNR Prices From Trusted Sellers So High?
I posted yesterday I've been out of the loop for a while and was surprised to see the AD in the fancy mall here pretty much out of SS sport models. I kind of thought it was a minor supply issue but after looking thru TRF for a while it seems this is a trend. In addition while perusing thru the for sale ads it seems the BLNR is significantly more expensive these days. Thankfully I sourced mine last year thru TRF trusted seller Tony (JustRolexes) and it was as described but Tony also gave me a super deal. Now that same watch is almost 10K. Is this due to the supply issue or has the demand for it increased that much?
Speedy Pro or Explorer I to Complete a Collection?
Hey all! I am seeking opinions on which watch to add to round out a five watch collection. I currently have:A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Up/Down in White GoldRolex Milgauss Z-BlueGrand Seiko SBGX091Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute to 1931 Chocolate Dial in Rose GoldFor the fifth watch I am decided between the Rolex Explorer 1 214270 (Basel 2016 edition with longer hands and lumed numerals) and the Omega Speedmaster Professional (either hesalite or sapphire). Keep in mind, I've owned both of these watches in the past and loved both, but sold them at one point or another because they're easy to get back and I needed funds for other purchases.Which watch do you think would round out the collection the best? I'm picking between these two because I want a black dial with no date (and no, I don't want a Sub 114060).https://imgur/a/lM3PF
