Oris Carlos Coste Limited Edition C Cenote Series
In 2010, Carlos Coste established a new Guinness world record for freediving by completing a 150 meter underwater swim using no breathing apparatus. The Venezuelan was armed with only a torch and a monofin when he made the dive, and now Oris honors his achievement by creating a special Carlos Coste Limited Edition Cenote Series diver’s watch. Find pricing and wallpaper inside.Coste’s record-setting swim took place in the Dos Ojos, a colossal cenote or cave network that twists for 31 miles under Yucatan, Mexico.A standout member of the Oris diver's collection, the 46mm Cenote Series offers original features to highlight Coste's feat. Interesting Interview With Laurent Picciotto - Chronopassion Owner And Horology Ambassador
You may or may not know who Laurent Picciotto is, but if you look at watch marketing online at all you will at least recognize the face. In addition to owning and running the Paris based Chronopassion, he is a serious voice in the high-end watch world and very online social-networking savvy. He is also a really nice guy. I met him at SIHH, which was pretty cool. You can check out a lot of what Laurent does at his Facebook page here.Tom over at TheWatchLounge did a little interview with Laurent recently and it is actually not a bad read. I have to admit that most interviews with watch brand executives are boring and devoid of interesting details. Maybe it is Laurent's cleverness or the fact that he a retailer as opposed to part of a brand, but his comments are worth a look. Check out the interview here.

Can I wear my Rolex in the Appalachian Mountains?
Spring Break 2018 in the gorgeous Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. I think the Datejust II is up for the task! White dial right at home with the beautiful powdered snow in the background. She is far from her normal comfort zone of central Florida but seems right at home on my wrist wherever I am! Happy Spring Break 2018!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
