A $1,000 Casio G-Shock? Yes, the Casio G-Shock MT-G
Casio‘s celebration of the iconic Casio G-Shock watch’s 30th anniversary culminated in the U.S. launch of the Casio G-Shock MT-G, a collection of metal/resin G-Shock watches starting at the unusual G-Shock price $900. Although the launch was in 2013 the watch continues to be one of the most discussed Casio G-Shock watches even today.?The collection introduced at the anniversary event includes the Casio G-Shock Rangeman, an addition to the “Master of G” collection, a military-inspired watch for first-response professionals; the GDX6900, a larger version of the existing 6900 model; and the MT-G, the G-Shock model that Casio says is meant to reposition the brand for the premium collector market. Most notable among the “collaboration” pieces was the G-Shock Eminem limited edition, made in cooperation with the hip-hop star.Eminem wears a G-Shock for his performance at Casio’s “Shock the World” eventThe Casio G-Shock MT-G, where the ̶
A. Lange & Sohne Germany Visit Trip Update: Winter Watch Wonderland
I am in Germany maybe 10 minutes and the signs of watch insanity are in my face. On my 4 hour layover in Munich to Dresden I am surprised to see that Munich's domestic terminal is basically one big watch store. There is a huge open watch store in the middle with tons of rare brands, and those that you don't even see in America at all, such as Certina and Union Glashutte. There is certainly an air of haute horology already. The first picture is of a magazine and gift store display. They actually highlight their collection of watch magazines! This is just too much good stuff, and I am on my way to being prepared for A. Lange & Sohne's upcoming spectacular display.I spent most of my first day in Glashutte where A. Lange & Sohne is headquartered visiting their factory and seeing some new watches (as well as existing watches). There is so much to admire in this brand in each place I look. Regardless of the snow falling outside, I was warm and excited as I entered each new room of th
Ro 15300
Guys, question: i am trying to score a RO 15300. Found one from 2007 pretty much mint. It does not have a guarrantee anymore but seller claims it has recently been serviced by a non AP shop. The fact that the watch was serviced by a non authorized dealer is a red flag or pretty much not a problem?Watch runs within cosc spec today. Also, anything to be aware of regarding 2007 run? Thanks a lot!
Pricing a used SuperOcean Steelfish X Plus help needed!
I bought a SuperOcean Steelfish X Plus and it came with the Prof 1 series bracelet on it 6 years ago. It is way to big for my wrist IMO. Great watch but just don't want it anymore as I went back to a Sub.My question is after looking they have been discontinued and a quick check of Ebay shows bids from $1200 to over 2K on them so I need to know what I should price mine at?I have all the boxes, paperwork, and links that were took off to fit my wrist.I bought the watch NIB from Authentic Watches. It has a dated and stamped warranty card however I now know this is considered a grey market watch and there will be no serial numbers that go with it. How much will that effect the value?Any help would be welcome. Thanks,James
Does it bother you when someone refers to their Rolex as a "Rollie" ?
I'm sure this thread may seem petty to a lot, but just for conversation sake, give me your thoughts. For me it does, not really sure why? Again not trying to be a watch snob, just curious as to what you think...
