Christophe Claret has released teaser images of his next new creation, called 21 Blackjack, which will officially debut next month during Baselworld. The 21 Blackjack combines traditional timekeeping functions (hours and minutes) with three mechanically-animated games of chance: Blackjack (with a striking mechanism), roulette, and a dice game. Precisely how these games function remains in the shadows for the moment. We know that the dial contains a total of 5 windows: two for the bank activated by a push-button at 10 o'clock, and three for the player activated by a push-button at 8 o'clock. If you are looking for a good priced, well mannered, and large sized pilot style watch, this just might be the piece for you. Archimede released their next Pilot automatic watch with the Pilot XL Automatik. The watch takes everything you like about the traditional simple Pilot watch look and ups the size from 39mm or 42mm to 45mm. The crown itself is 8mm thick. This is actually a good size making for a decidedly large watch that I would NOT describe as being silly big. "That giant watch looks ridiculous on your wrist!" .is not a statement this watch will attract.The Archimede Pilot XL is housed in a steel case (made by Ickler) with a brushed finish, and the sapphire crystal has a double AR coating - so it is quite easy to view and won't really have glare. planet ocean xl 8500 how do you like it?
well, im seriously on the fence on which watch to get right now. im really into the po 8500 on bracelet with grey bezel and 3 orange markers....or a breitling super avenger. i know i know, they are 2 diff. watches. but both really close in price and offer different things. i have wanted the SA for a long time but just when im ready to purchase.the new 8500 comes out..... lol. anyway, how do you like the po's?

Christmas Incoming
I have added another Patek to the stable. 5170G. I received from the AD last week. It took a lot of restraint to wait until today to open it. I have been wearing it all day. The size and mass are perfect. This watch has stealthy elegance. From afar it seems plain but up close it is stunning. I am very happy to be part of a great forum. Merry Christmas to all.
