On the road to acquiring my first AP
Hi everyone, been reading the forums for awhile and I think I have finally decided to buy my dream watch. I fell in love with the aesthetics of the Royal Oak many years ago but didn't know too much about it at the time. The more I find out about it, the more I see it's value and respect all the work put in to creating a piece like it.I only have 2 nicer watches so far (Rolex Milguass GV for work and a U-Boat Flightdeck Beige for fun) and I was originally going to add a white faced Calibre de Cartier with steel band to my collection. I was kind of set on buying it...but after going to Japan for vacation and actually trying it on a couple times and talking to some people about it, my mind started to wander to AP...I know it's more than double the price but it's what I've always wanted so I figured what the heck?!So...here I am on the hunt for one! DSOTM as a daily wearer...tough? Durable?
Considering this watch as a daily wearer, but can it handle the stress? I have been reading ceramic case horror stories and I am now reconsidering my position.
