IWC Pilot's Watch Automatic 36
IWC – Montre d’Aviateur Automatique 36Pilot watches have an instantly recognisable design: large size, big Arabic numerals, chunky hands, protruding crown and minimalist dial. Although highly popular with watch enthusiasts, some criticise the case size and depth for comfort or design reasons. To put a smile on these clients' faces, IWC has designed a smaller and slimmer Pilot's Watch Automatic 36 which, as the name suggests, has a 36mm steel case. The self-winding 3511 calibre powers the time and date functions along with the 42-hour power reserve. The dial comes in three colours: silver, slate and blue. The central disc bearing the black and white Arabic numerals and luminescent hour, minute and seconds hands stands slightly above the minute track. A black-on-white date display appears at 3 o' clock.Price upon request.By Sharmila Bertin
White gold in ss Diver?
According to Watch Time magazine, the hands and screws on the bezel are made of white gold. Anyone know if this is true? If it is, why would they bother making these in white gold?
So... now with the 5905
Where does the 5980 stand? I think this was the reason they discontinued the 5980. What does the future hold for this classic first in house chrono? Steel watches have hold up their value in the past. Or too many floating around? What do you guys think?
Capetown diamond
Anyone know if they are on this forum? If so, what is their username. They have a gmt I am interested in purchasing. Thanks.
116509 help!
I'm thinking of part exchanging a Tudor Fastrider black shield (leather strap) 42000CN, Tudor Blackbay Black (leather strap ETA version) 79220N, a 116622 blue dial and 5500 cash for a Daytona 116509 grey arabic dial (Rolex serviced Oct 2017)All watches have B&P.Fellow members, should I do it? Bit of background, I have 8 watches but find I only wear 3 of them regularly.116713LN, VC Overseas Deepstream and the 79220N.I don't wear the 116622 much since getting the 116713, I sold a 114060 as I found it too similar to the 79220N. (I initially chose to keep the 79220 over the 114060 as they are harder to find)I have a 16610LV which I don't wear for some reason, just never seem to choose it. The other two are Casio and Seiko so not worth selling.I like the idea of having different complications in my collection, the Fastrider is the chrono but after buying it it really doesn't do it for me and neither does the Omega Speedmaster. (My Seiko has a power reserve!) I really want a top piece t
