Greubel Forsey Art Piece 1 Watch With Willard Wigan
Very soon ultra high-end watch maker Greubel Forsey will begin to fully release a new limited edition of watches made in participation with micro-sculptor artist Willard Wigan. The watches will be known as "Greubel Forsey Art Pieces," and seem to be numerically numbered. The relationship might seem a bit strange at first but begins to make more sense as you think more about it. Wigan is known for making tiny art under a microscope. He is most well-known for creating scenes and figurines on the heads of nails and in pin holes. His creations take a lot of time and he is among the only people in the world who can do what he does. The watch makers at Greubel Forsey make mechanical art creations under a microscope, hand-assembling and decorating parts with incredible detail. Damsel in Distress
Hi all. Not sure if I'm doing this correctly but I'm getting desperate.I'm getting married in May, and my fianc sold his Speedmaster Date 3212.80.00 to purchase my engagement ring. It was his dream watch and I want to replace it for his wedding gift. I've seen several go for around $1600 on ebay, but the only one I can find now is closer to $2500. Can anyone direct me to the right place for finding one or offer advice on what I should expect to pay?Thank you so much!
Sticking Date on my 5980 1R
Sad news here, my favorite PP is off for warranty service as when I was advancing the date wheel with the PP plunger, it stuck in-between numbers. Have any of you had this problem advancing the date by turning just the crown? Has a defective part been identified? This was being done at 8 am in the morning.
