Watches and F1: The Heuer Jacky Ickx Easy-Rider
editor's note: I'm excited today to bring you the first article by a new contributor to worn&wound, Sean Lorentzen. Sean's a young writer with a love of watches and all things car related, whose work has been featured on the prominent car enthusiasts blog, Petrolicious. This article is actually the first in a series that combines his passions, looking at lesser known F1 inspired watches and the people that inspired them. Enjoy!I am a man of two great passions. In the past several years, I've been captivated by the watch world, especially the vintage side. Within a few short years of my life, I've gone from a complete watch illiterate whose only experience with horology was a Timex Ironman I had when I was nine, to the type of guy who spends hours each day trolling forums and drooling over everything from mid-60s Breitling Navitimers to Wittnauer super compressors to funky old Squale designs (It can change on a day-to-day basis, something I'm sure many of you are familiar with).I go

Yet another box arrived from Jim at Continental
It's the watch I ordered from Jim three months ago. Mine is the first to arrive of the three he had on order.I'm thinking of having the unveiling at the ATL GTG on Saturday. Our official ATL GTG photographer (Bill, gaopa) can then post photos on the forum.
Sky-dweller TT question
I'm thinking of getting a sky-dweller TT. Is that considered to be to dressy for jeans a T-shirt, other casual clothes?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rolex Limited Edition Turn-O-Graph
Maybe this has already been covered somewhere else on this forum?I was at a Rolex boutique in Tokyo on Saturday and they showed me two Turn-O- Graph watches they said were limited edition models for Japan only. They were priced at around 934,000 yen each. They had a white dial Turn-O-Graph with green Turn-O-Graph lettering and a green second hand; the other a black dial version. The lady with whom I was speaking said there are 300 of each being produced for sale. I tried on both versions. I have to say they looked great. My scanner is not working properly, so I took a few pictures of the photo cards she gave me. I also grabbed a photo off of a Japanese web site.
