IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Edition Watch For Volvo Ocean Race
IWC recently announced a new version of their Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph watch that came out about two years ago. The great looking piece is probably one of my top pics from the brand at this time and now is featured in an even more sporty skin. This version is done in collection with the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012. Beyond that I guess a new watch will be made? The rear of the watch has "Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012" engraved on the back. IWC is the officially timekeeper for the boat race events. In the race IWC is also the official sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team. Interesting that they sponsor the event and one of the teams. The titanium case and carbon fiber dial look good together and feel fitting with the high-end racing boats. These performance machines operate thanks to very capable sailors and seconds count when needed to start the race. While not a traditional regatta timer, the first 10 minutes of the chronograph counter are specially colored to help with calcula

Piaget EmperadorXL watch has a number of large size to look at the retro elements. Dial 12 bits of classical and traditional emblem Piaget, 6 points in the simple power of fan shape display reserve and 9-bit square small second hand plate retro watch to transmit the unique pride and modesty. Button thin classic resting in the Sun when the standard decoration on the bottom of the dial, the overall perception of light shine. The light of the mechanical watch of the last century opened the way to early glory, but also of the Swiss watch industry, the war, the pursuit of prosperity and optimism of positive aesthetic flavor. Luxurious housing 18 K pink gold and understated elegance and this brown leather bracelet crocodile, it seems that still remained of the century last old smell of leather.
A Week On The Wrist: The H. Moser Endeavour Perpetual Calendar
H. Moser is one of those independent brands that isn't in our collective vernacular as much as others. Think about how often you hear the name F.P. Journe, or MB&F, or even Philippe Dufour and Laurent Ferrier. These are names that, to most watch folks, are relatively familiar. Moser, however, is not, and that's a shame because they have always been doing interesting things. Today, I will be reviewing the H. Moser Endeavour Perpetual Calendar, formerly known as the Perpetual 1. This incredibly thoughtful perpetual is absolutely the manufacture's most popular timepiece, offering something that frankly does not exist anywhere else. Let's get into it. Who Is H. Moser, Anyway? H. Moser, as we know it today, operates out of Schaffhausen, Switzerland – a town best known for being the home of another watch company. The original Heinrich Moser made a name for himself by selling Swiss watches to Russians in the 1800s. He was so successful that after just a
Why is this watch a lot cheaper than a Rolex?

16610LV & 126600 50th Anniversary Duo
Thought I'd share my newest acquisition with you all, a mid 2004 F5..... serial Rolex 16610LV Anniversary Submariner. I had one of these a few years ago, a D serial but as you do you flip and change. Bit of a mistake on my part. This F serial is a complete set in the old style box with the moss covered stone card outer, it even has the anchor too (which I believe stopped being give when they started using the newer ripple top boxes). I have an original catalogue from October 2004 with price list and back then new this watch would have been 2650!! Wish thats what I'd just paid for this one!I've photographed it next to my 50th Anniversary Sea-Dweller the 126600 as I think they make a very nice pairing of 50th Anniversary Rolex. Now I never see watches as investment pieces, I buy them if I like the look of them and if I don't like them after wearing for a while I sell them on, if I get my money back thats always a bonus, I generally don't though. Over the past few months I have bought
