Habring2 Doppel 3 Split-Second Chronograph Limited Edition Watch
Habring2, the watch brand founded by the man behind the movement used in the IWC Doppelchronograph, has announced a very limited run of their Doppel 3 split-second monopusher chronograph. Made especially for the French language watch forum Horlogerie-Suisse, this limited edition run is comprised of just five pieces and bears a distinct dial design that will set it apart from the already exceedingly rare "standard" Doppel 3 chronograph.Like the standard version, this limited Doppel 3 utilizes the A08MR hand wound monopusher chronograph movement. Based on a Valjoux movement, the A08MR incorporates a specialized module designed by Richard Habring that significantly changes the movement to offer the split-second capability and monopusher operation. The pusher at two can start, stop and reset the chronograph measure while the pusher at ten activates the split function. The Doppel 3 has a 42mm stainless steel case and a dual anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Devon Tread 2 Watch Preview
In a few weeks California-based Devon will unveil the follow-up version to their now famous Devon Tread 1 watch. It was originally explained to me that the Tread 2 watch would be a more simple and inexpensive model. It looks as though a lot of that has changed, but what I do think is still part of the Tread 2 based on early information is that it will have two treads versus three. The Tread 1 has a constantly running belt for the seconds which was cool, but was also a bit loud and consumed a lot of power. The new model will have two tread as I understand it, and a whole lot more. The Tread 2 will have a lot of material upgrades and a more sophisticated design. It will also be very accurate and come in a smaller package. I reviewed the very cool Tread 1 here, and you can see that it is a large timepiece. The Tread 2 will have a 38mm wide case that is 42mm tall and 14.5mm thick. That is a lot smaller than the Tread 1. The Tread 2 will initially be in steel, but DLC black versions could ea
The 15202ST is nice but the RG 15202 is something else
As we all know how classic the SS Jumbo is which retains so much DNA from the original A series designed by Genta. the RG jumbo on the other hand is truly something else, the blue dial executed just perfectly with rose gold. needless to say here are a couple wrist shots for you guys
Patek Philippe - help with first purchase
Hi,I am looking for a little help.I have collected Rolex's for years and love the brand but feel I need something else in my collection.I have always loved Patek's but thought they may be just something I would aspire to and may never actually own. However, I have recently found myself more and more drawn to the brand and think I will soon commit. The model I like is the 5296 Calatrava although I am trying to make my mind up between the 5296G .luxurytime/images/products/5296g_010.jpgand 5296R.prestigetime/images/watches/5296r_010.jpgMy questions are as follows:Should I be considering anything else in the Patek range?Where is the best place to buy a Patek in the UK?Is discount a word that can be used with a Patek AD?Any other help or advice would be appreciated.RegardsNigel (Figas)

What do we think about this? The price is OK, as I can trade in my HK bought 2006 Submariner in London for more than I paid for it. Love the black and red GMT. To be fair, all these watches are going to be worth more in 20 years..watchfinder.co.uk/Rolex/G...450/item/99441
