Al Pacino Receives the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award at Venice Film Festival
Al Pacino is the recipient of the Jaeger-Le Coultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2011 Award, a prize of the Venice International Film Festival dedicated to an artist who has left an original mark on contemporary cinema. The prize has previously been awarded to some of the greatest figures in film including: Takeshi Kitano (2007), Abbas Kiarostami (2008), Agns Varda (2008), Sylvester Stallone (2009) and Mani Ratnam (2010). The awards ceremony took place on Sunday September 4th during the 68th Venice International Film Festival. Festival Director Marco Mueller described Pacino as An amazing director, whose experience is precious and original, and enriches the world of contemporary film. The award ceremony preceded the world premiere of Pacino's third feature-length directorial picture, Wilde Salome. Referred to as his “most personal project ever,” the unconventional feature documentary invites audiences into Pacino's private world, as he explores the complexities of Oscar Wilde'
Speedmaster Happy
I ware my Seamaster chrono daily, but have been itching to get a Speedy for a while now. I wanted something cleaner looking but still elegant and sporty. I just came home with this one and couldn't be happier. I really like the day/month and 24 hr dials. Along with the chrono feature and water resistant to 300ft, makes this a perfect EDC watch. Luv the quick set day too. 38 1/2mm.
Need help to identify my omega seamaster
I purchased this Omega Seamaster Pro 300. The Serial number is shown on the card and begins in the 49,000,000. From all the omega serial numbers I seen on the web, that puts the date of the watch in 1986. However researching the Omega Vintage Site, it looks to be from the 1993-1996 collection. Which corralates with the date on the warrenty card. The hang tag with movement show a 1109 caliber. The red dot on the case back has not been distured yet, so have not opened the case. Anyway, how come the serial number charts reference it as a 86 but it seems to be a 93-96?

My Milgauss broke, would it in covered under warranty?
Hello TRFers,Today when I got my Milgauss 116400GV out of the watch box, pull the crown out to wind the watch, I notice that there was a problem. The watch was not winding, it did not go to the first position when the watch is unscrewed instead it goes straight to the second position of hacking. I have 2 questions for you guys.1) Will this be covered under the Rolex warranty?2) How do you send a watch to Rolex? Can you do so by going to a AD?Any help would be appreciated
