Blu Galaxy Watch: Pretty Little Cosmos

As KC Tay mentioned in regard to two of the images above that he took located on Horomundi, this is a notoriously difficult watch to photograph. Why? Because the beauty comes from the spectacular array of sparkles that comes from the galaxy looking dial of this correctly named Blu Galaxy watch, and these are simply hard to get on camera. This is one of Blu's first watches and was released in 2000.The watch dial is the major attraction and is constructed from something called Aventurine, which is a type of glass made with small copper particles inside. Omgea Dealers keeping quiet
Just been to Bluewater to look at the new PO Titanium and all the dealers now no longer stock Omega, of the four jewellers that used to be AD'S none of themnow stock Omega's. What was funny is that not one of them told me that was because an Omega boutique had opened and where it was, all any of them said was they had stopped selling Omega's. Looks like Omega has pi**ed off all it's old AD's, lets see if the new boutiques work or whether they will have to go back to AD's.

Daylight lume
Briefly stepped out to get my coffee mug from my car, its a rainy day, came back inside the house and the lume on the watch was quite bright.I love Omega's lume!

I think most of us know the metal letter designations used by Patek...a - steelg - white goldj - yellow goldp - platinumr - rose goldI'm curious about the derivation? I get r for rose, j for jaune (French for yellow) and p for platinum. How do you get a and g?
