Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Automatic Calibre 8500 And Chronograph Calibre 9300 Watches For 2011
In addition to the new for 2011 Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph Automatic watch, Omega offers a new? Planet Ocean Seamaster Co-Axial Chronograph Automatic watch with the new in-house Omega caliber 9300. There is also a three-hand Seamaster which also has in-house made Omega caliber 8500 automatic. These new pieces are fantastic, and show just how dedicated Omega is to making its two core sport watch collections better and better. One quick note for you watch movements nerds. The original caliber 8500 for a few years ago did not have a silicon hairspring, but all the new versions do. What you see here the range of new pieces for 2011. I want to start with the more simple three-hand Seamaster Co-Axial Automatic. There will be black and blue version. The blue will have Omega's Liquidmetal bezel, but not the black one yet. State of the Daytona’s: my trio together. My first was the TT 16503. It is obviously the most accessible. I’m fortunate to have a good relationship with my AD and I’m thrilled to have both SS models in my collection to complement the TT.Most people like the white dial more than the black for the SS models. I understand the homage to the Paul Newman and how the white dial is *closer* to the Newman. However, I view the 11650_ series as a watch in itself and not an homage. The fact that these are Daytonas are enough homage for my taste; they wouldn’t be what they are but for Newman and a Daytona in itself is enough of a tribute in my opinion.Aesthetically, I like the black dial the most. This will likely change over time, I’ll likely experience seasons of preference for each individual watch. I certainly appreciate them all.Lastly, I’m fortunate to have small wrists. My wife can wear all of these watches (not that she would wear the stainless m
Incoming - SD43!
After trading in my 114060 for the SD43, I think I've found the perfect diver for me. Ladies and gents, I love this watch. Everything about it, from the wrist presence, dial, cyclops, bracelet, 60 min graduated bezel and the latest movement...this thing rocks! Sure it's heavier and bigger than my Sub, but I actually like that and feel it is the perfect size...even for a daily wear like I'll be using it. So far it's only Day 1 but I can't take my eyes off this watch, it hits the mark on everything in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
