Breitling Colt SuperQuartz Watches For 2011
Fan of high-end quartz watches? Breitling has a nice new piece for you. What is high-end quartz? Well not cheap quartz! The perception that all quartz watches are cheap is a bit of a shame. It is true that you can buy a quartz movement based watch for a few bucks, but high-end quartz watches are out there - and they have their fan following for sure. Breitling is one of the few Swiss brands that continually offers high-end Swiss quartz movement based timepieces in addition to mechanical watches (and not just in women's pieces). The mainstay of the Breitling quartz watch collection has always been their Aerospace watches. Those pieces are undeniably cool, but not everyone wants both analog hands and a digital display on their watch dial. So Breitling has always offered watches like this new Colt that are quartz movement based, but not digital.I am not an expert of Breitling watch collections - though my understanding is that the Colt line has not always been about quartz movements. Bring a Loupe: A Dressy Rolex, A Complicated Credor, And A Great Speedmaster To Start Off 2016
Bring A Loupe kicks off 2016 with an unexpected selection: the watches featured today are not the usual crowd-pleasing favorites but, for one reason or another, they deserve more attention than they generally get. We've found a fantastic vintage dress watch from Rolex, and a modern Seiko Credor with a moon phase complication. I will also highlight some of the best – and worst – listings from eBay this past week, from a very promising Gallet to a sadly fraudulent Breitling Top Time. This is your Bring A Loupe for January 1, 2016, and I wish you a Happy New Year! Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1013, With A Rose Gold Case 1 OF 11 I consider the 101X line as one of the greatest successes in Rolex vintage production. Think about it: you have the reference 1016, an amazing Explorer, and the reference 1019, a super attractive Milgauss. Besi
Had a chance to see the new PO
The new 42mm PO is very nice, should make for a great EDC piece. This will be a serious contender for me personally as I've moved off my new Rolex pieces for now and sticking to my vintage and semi-vintage ones. I think the MSRP for the regular black version on ss bracelet is something like $5,800. If anyone has good dealer connections on Omegas, please PM me.
18 Days!! PAM 270 or PAM 233?
Showing the subtle differences of the PAM 270 vs PAM 233. Notice the bigger font size of the 12 & 6 on the PAM 233. The longer hour markers on the PAM 233. The lesser calibration on the PAM 270 power reserve. The larger power reserve circle indicator on the PAM 233. The thicker minute hand of the PAM 270. And of course the more obvious differences, the AM/PM indicator differences and the and the absence of the 9 on the PAM 233.Which dial do you like better?
