My Franc Vila EVOS 8 Cobra Watch Article On AskMen.com
Right before I wrote this article I was fortunate enough to actually meet with Franc Vila himself. He showed me a selection of watches from his collection, including the Cobra models that I wrote about for AskMenwatches-dealer (see link below). It was interesting that I met with the man who made a watch I was about to write about. I was literally assigned to write about the watch a few hours before I met him, so it was a total coincidence really. He is a charismatic fellow who is more a watch enthusiast turned watch company owner as opposed to being a introverted watch maker like the hardcore fellows. He has a deep connection with the designs and a close relationship with his customers. What amazed me about the watch is just how solid they felt. If you've ever picked up a watch that felt like lots of pieces put together, you'll now what I mean. The Franc Vila watches feel like one solid piece. Looking at AP, have some Q's re 15400
1) I typically like a bit of weight to my watches. How much does the 15400 weigh in stainless?2) Is the 15400 robust enough to reasonably handle the day to day wear like a Rolex Submariner can?3) Can anyone recommend an AD in the Toronto area? I'm leaning toward the blue face, do they typically discount and how much.Thx in advance.

I just purchased this NaviWorld from an apparently reputable dealer in Michigan:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:ITAny Breitling gurus out there that can verify or refute it's authenticity? It's coming without papers or booklets (which is unfortunate since I need to know how that crazy rotary slide rule works).Any input would be much appreciated.Thanks!
