Greetings TRF,After thinking a rather long time about the next timepiece I'd review I thought I'd give this model a try. Given that it is the only Grandes Complications model I've had the chance to actually handle and that it is a model I particularely love I think the choice was quite the no-brainer (besides, I hope one of our friends around here who happens to own one will chime in to give his opinion on it...).Today's review: the Patek Philippe 5159- The case: The watch's first forte, the officer's case is a wonderful asset of this timepiece. Everything on it gives you the feeling that you have a vintage watch on your wrist: the big round crown, the straight lugs with their screws replacing the usual springbars and, when you take a look on the other side, the gold hinged dust cover hiding the sapphire crystal case back that displays the movement. I must admit I used to feel a tad strange while looking at such lugs on watches as I thought they were cut too roughly off the case but th
Anybody ever heard of the PAM 464?
Saw this on another website 'Luminor Marina - 'Pig Las Vegas Boutique' Panerai PAM 464' and cannot find many reviews or why it was even made. Does anyone have any information or thoughts on this model? What movement it has? Is it a 'real' Panerai or some kitchy Vegas knockoff?
