Insurance on Watches
I wanted to see how many of you guys had insurance on your time pieces. I have only this one Panerai and I was thinking about getting insurance on it since I have insurance on the wife's ring in case it gets lost or stolen but wondered if it was worth getting on the watch.I got quoted at $755 a year for insurance to add it to my homeowners. As much as i love the piece of mind I am wondering if it's really worth it. At that rate I could just save it up and buy a new watch in a few years lol.EDIT: Just heard back about insurance. That was the price of everything I have on the policy together lol. Other Jewelry, homeowners etc...not just the watch alone...sorry guys.
PAM 111 decision
so - as a newbie - i think the 111 sounds a safe bet....but would you advise the painted / sandwich dial? I understand after G its sandwich (not sure of year ?)but which i more desireable please? in my mind sandwhich is more panerai representative - but in that painted, was phased out -is it worth trying to get one?and ..... can i get a idea in GBP what i might look to buy one for please?thanks peeps
Rolex Milgauss
Hi,I'd like to learn more about the rare Rolex Milgauss. No where online could I find a nice reference site to discuss its features... I am a newbie and would like to learn more about this wonderful company. Any help will be great.thanksandyAlso, this goes to learning all rolex models in general. I have been reading up from what I can from local bookstores, but there is only so much you can pickup from the wristwatch annual 2005, etc...
