Glashtte Original Creates Unique Senator Chronometer for Only Watch
Glashtte Original has created this “1 of 1” Senator Chronometer for Only Watch 2011. The 18k red gold case is perfectly sized at 42mm. On tap are panorama date, day/night indication, and a stop-seconds feature with innovative minute detent. Of course the case houses a 58-jewel certified chronometer movement visible through a sapphire case back. Find the wish price and wallpaper inside. The “1/1” unique piece status appears on the dial next to the date. The hands are red gold. The watch case bears a special Only Watch engraved inscription, and the watch is accompanied by a unique wood case created as a tribute to marine chronometer housings of the past, and a special certificate. The wish price for this piece is 30,000 – 50,000 euros. The Only Watch 2011 charity auction will take place on September 23 during the
Bertolucci Giro Chronograph Watches Have A Freaky Face
It is entirely possible that my warped mind sees watches differently than other people do. Over the course of my writing about Bertolucci watches, they have always looked interesting, but a bit strange to me. I finally connected a few of the things that some of their common Chronograph models remind of me. Maybe you agree? You can tell that these watches are all part of the same family. Some or all are Bertoluccia Giro (All-Black Giro see here), and some are just called Bertolucci Quartz Chronograph watches. No matter the name, they each have large, gaping mouths. Why? I couldn't tell you. Though here are some of the possible design influences. My favorite is near the bottom of course. Each is highly disturbing in its own way. Bertolucci might need to occasionally revise their "Mediterranean Inspiration" sloganto something else.I like Bertolucci watches mostly, they are nicely made and designed. Often with quartz movements, but good lookers for the fashion crowd. Though these watches a
potential first AP purchase
Hi everyone, I wanted to get your opinions on something.. considering a 15400st grey dial from a local watch store.. they're not an AP AD but they're a rolex, breitling etc AD.. they have a pre owned 15400st for sale for $13k but no box or papers! Is it worth getting without b&p or should i wait and spring for one with.. but that price just seems really good... I havent seen the watch or any 15400's in person yet (was talking to them about steel sky dwellers and they mentioned they had that grey 15400)... but all the pictures i've seen and feedback on the 15400st has made me really like it and want one! it would be my first AP watchOriginally I was considering the 42mm ROO's.. but had a couple opportunities to try them on and it just didnt do anything for me... was also considering the RO chrono panda, love that dial, but is it worth springing more money for? 15400 seems like a classic and in house movement is always a plus so is it worth spending more for a chrono and non AP movem

Bangkok grey store - SD43, LV, Deep Sea, etc.
In Bangkok for a few days at MBK. Ususally don't find much here, but happened across a small grey shop. Lots and lots of goodies :).New: SD43, LV, Deep Sea, all black GMT among a few others.Used: 4 x SS black dial Daytonas, a handful of TT Daytonas, a Kermit, a few LVs, a BLNR, some PPs, some Subs, a GMT Coke, a few GMT Pepsis.Pretty cool to see all in all in one place. I only asked about the price on the new SD43 - about $15,650.
