How comparable is an Omega Seamaster 300m to a Rolex Submariner?
I have been lurking around these forums for a few years now with my heart set on a used Rolex Submariner. I'm budgeting around $4,500, so I imagine that would get me a watch around 10 years old or so.I recently came across the Omega Seamaster 300M, and I really like the looks of it (very similar to a Submariner IMHO). I'm curious how others feel in regards to the comparisons between the two.I still like the Submariner, but I also really like the comparable looks of the Omega Seamaster 300m, and the price would allow me to buy brand new.Curious what everyone's thoughts are here, which will be greatly appreciated. Lange Zeitzone Platinum for a 5980 /1a straight up?have a potential cash buyer for my 5980 and someone that wants to trade for the Lange. I like the lange but the funds from 5980 were to go towards another patek. Just not sure if I want to add Lange to my collection...Anyone familiar with Lange and this particular model care to chime in? What I like about this watch is that its large (41.9mm) - what I dont like is that Lange doesnt seem to hold up as well on the secondary market.thoughts?

I was wondering can an AD, purchase a Patek from a Grey dealer and sell it in their store to their customers?If so, is there a way to check that the Patek was indeed from the factory to the Ad?
