This month on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer's Free Watch Giveaway you can get a really cool watch, and everyone who enters gets a special Phosphor watch discount. That's right. Even if you don't win the watch at the end of the month, you'll still get an e-mail with a special exclusive discount coupon for a Phosphor watch. This makes a high value watch, even more enticing. I recently reviewed the Phosphor Digital Hour Clock here with much praise. This watch is great for you or as a gift (given the holiday season). Oh, and don't worry, the watch to be won is brand new direct from Phosphor, and not the particular piece I personally reviewed. As you know, Phosphor is the leading e-ink screen watch maker with very useful and stylish timepieces available. The specific watch you'll be entering to win is the Digital Hour Clock on the leather strap with a retail value of $185. Visit the giveaways sponsor Phosphor watches right here to learn more about this and other e-ink watches. Good luck!To Enter
Sinn EZM 10 Review
The world of pilot's watches is a crowded one, with seemingly a new model, line or brand dedicated to the style coming out every day. But not all are created equal, and not all are made to truly be worn by pilots. Naturally, most of us are not pilots, myself included, and don't need something that is truly to spec, but often the same technologies and details that make them fit to fly also just make them long-lasting, tough-as-nails tool watches with bold and aggressive designs. Of the few brands that offer something truly meant for the cockpit, Sinn's watches go the furthest, offering the most cutting-edge tech as well as TESTAF certification, authenticating their credibility. We've looked at many a Sinn before on w&w, from the classically styled pilot's chronos 103 and 356 to the clean and purposeful 556i and 240 to the mission-ready EZM 13 diver's chronograph, all of which offer a great value for their build quality, style and functionality. Today, we're going to take a look at a

Possible Explorer II Price Increase
Just an FYI from a conversation I had so take it for what it's worth. Was at an AD with my BLNR and SubC this morning and chatted with the watchmaker for an hour. Well into our conversation about watches, safes, insurance, etc he mentioned he was made aware by Rolex that the Explorer II's will be getting a significant price increase soon. Possibly as early as Feb. Mind you that I was in an AD so it may have just been bait on a hook, but he was WELL aware from our conversation that I won't be purchasing another sport piece anytime soon and my next piece will be a Cellini. I think if he had just been throwing around bs to get me to walk out of there with another Rolex, he would have substituted Explorer II with Cellini because I tried on 4 different variations of it. Again, take it for what it's worth.
