Bring a Loupe: A Killer Vintage AP Chronograph In Pink Gold, A Heuer Monaco "Dark Lord," A Big Red Daytona With Full Kit, An Early El Primero, An Hermes-Signed Universal, And More
In this week's Bring A Loupe, we've got a wide range of incredibly rare vintage pieces – some of which are offered by dealers that are, more or less, "off the grid," but that I've encountered in my travels – and rare and special contemporary pieces from modern favorites Journe and Lange. Further, if you've been hunting a rare vintage chronograph, boy do we have some options for you today – think an Hermes-signed Universal, a mythical Heuer "Dark Lord," and a 1930's AP chrono in pink gold. Swatch Group Target
Thought the following may be of interest to some Omega fans:Just read on the BBC Telextext page that Swatch Group are looking for sales growth of between 5% and 10% in 2012 after reporting record sales in 2011 (up 21.7% to 4.8bn / $7.5bn). I wonder where they are aiming most the the sales growth from? I'd reckon they'd have to shift a fair number of Swatch watches to reach their target, so I guess there will be a lot of pressure on the Omega Division.
Best of both worlds...
Have a good weekend guys
Panerai Luminor 1950 Sealand
I was walking by the Panerai boutique in Beverly Hills a couple of weeks ago, and they had this cutie in the window. Welcome to the Year of the Rooster.
