Alpina ’12 Hours of Sebring” LE
Alpina Geneve has been named Official Timekeeper of the 57th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race to be held March 18-21, 2009 on Sebring International Raceway in Florida. In honor of this event, Alpina has developed a special limited edition timepiece: the Alpina Extreme ’12 Hours of Sebring’. An example of this watch will be presented to the winner following the race. The watch is made of black steel and rubber and has a matte black dial with the design of the tarmac of the track. It features clear indexes with a red ’12’, commemorating the twelve hours of the race. The Swiss automatic movement is visible through the exhibition case back.To honor the 57th race, the watch will be presented in an exclusive limited and numbered edition of only 257 pieces worldwide.
Warranty Registration Question (first AP)
Hoping you guys can provide me some guidance, I've searched but can't find the answer. So I bought a new AP RO 15400 back in August, the dealer location was London but not an authorised AP dealer.I want to register the watch to get the 3rd year, but info to submit I'm a bit confused. The warranty book is stamped and the dealer is Prince Jewellery and Watch Co, Hong Kong (authorised dealer) also dated 1st April 2016So for purchase from field, I'm assuming would be the AD in Hong Kong? And the date, would this be the 1st April too, or the actual date I bought it from the dealer in London?Any pointers much appreciated.
Limited grand prix
A ROO Grand Prix just sold on EBay for $21,200. This was a NR auction. Seems like the market is a little soft right now.
Omega half link needed
Hi, would anyone happen to have a half link that would fit my 1998/849 bracelet used for my Omega Moon to Mars watch? I'm told it's the same as the half link that comes on a Seamaster proffesional. If so let me know if you would sell?
Value retention of current PP.
Hi rolex forum,I've recently acquired a 5712G and I am eyeing the 5205 and the 5960, however as I am starting to spend a substantial amount on my watch collection, I would like some insight as to what value these references will retain 10-20 years down the road. I know it is impossible to accurately forecast the price level, but I would like to know which current PP references do you expect to retain the most value 10-20 years down the road, and why? Thanks!
