Taylor Lautner Wears Piaget to Eclipse Premiere
One of Hollywood's hottest stars, Taylor Lautner, arrived at the Eclipse premiere in New York wearing Piaget's Altiplano 40mm in white gold with a black dial. Hundreds of fans had gathered outside the Crosby Hotel to glimpse Lautner before he joined costar Kristen Stewart on the red carpet for photos. The Piaget-sponsored premiere of the summer's most highly anticipated film drew a number of celebrities and high profile New Yorkers, including Abigail Breslin, Cheyenne Jackson, Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas, stylist Rachel Zoe, models Hilary Rhoda, Carol Alt and Dree Hemingway, Kelly Kilorean Bensimon, Lauren Bush and designers Rachel Roy, Cynthia Rowley and Georgina Chapman. Also in attendance was Nic Roldan, Piaget's polo ambassador who was in town for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic where he captained Prince Harry's team. Roldan wore the special limited edition version of the Piaget Polo FortyFive that Piaget created for the event.Piaget fan Taylor Lautner with Piaget North American pr
Four New Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Watches For 2015
The perpetual calendar is among the most highly regarded complications in?horology C and?with good reason. The way its all-mechanical brain knows the lengths of the months throughout the years and makes the date display jump from the 28, 29, 30 or 31st day to the?1st all by itself, even in leap years, is?genuinely amazing to all watch enthusiasts C while its exact workings?is understood by much fewer. The four new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watches for 2015 bring back the terrific looks of the original "RO QP" C the Royal Oak Quentime Perpetual C albeit at a slightly larger size.Originally designed?in 1981, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar to this day, remains one?of the most timelessly beautiful dress watches with this complication. What's new in 2015 is that the "new" models, by the reference?26574OR.OO.1220, are 2 millimeter wider, coming in at 41 millimeters now (that is, excluding the crown, as always). Two versions in steel and two in pink gold,
AP AD Thoughts - Manfredi
Hi all, was wondering if anyone in the New York or CT area has dealt with Manfredi in Greenwich, and can speak about the experience. I have spoken to them on the phone and dropped in the store a few times, but never have been seriously looking, just browsing. They have always been very nice and knowledgeable, much more so than most ADs, and never pushy. Whenever I buy it is basically down to them versus the boutique, unless someone has another AD in that area that deals APs who they have had a favorable experience with. Any thoughts on Manfredi, and buying from them, where there would most likely be some sort of discount, versus the boutique where no price accommodations can be made, but they do come with a 5 year warranty versus the standard 3 year.
where can I buy an ocean racer strap
and what is the asking price? Thanks!
3570.50 or 3574.51
So I am about to purchase my first speedy pro and I have the opportunity to buy a new 3574.51 or a slightly used 3570.50. Which one would you guys get?I know that they are essentially the same minus the caseback, but I still can't decide. I kind of like the original plus that one is at a jeweler that will take a decent trade price on my 2538.20 great white. If I go with the 3574.50 then I need to wait and sell my great white for a decent price. Also is there a way to check when the watch was made with the serial number?thanks for any advice
