Review Limes Endurance 1000 GMT3
When one discusses the desirable qualities in a watch, there are many potential factors to take into consideration. Build quality, looks, price, complications, etc And these factors can get very specific depending on one's needs, such as helium-escape valves for divers.?It's not often that a watch comes along that covers a particularly large amount of those potential needs, and the Limes Endurance 1000 GMT 3 is one such watch. At 1,195 Euros, or about $1,575, the German made Endurance features an ETA 2893-2 TOP grade GMT movement, a 1000m water resistance, sapphire crystal, an incredibly sturdy build and a unique three time zone design. While the price is certainly more than the bulk of watches we discuss, the Limes Endurance offers substantial value by being a "multi-tool" as well as packing a top grade ETA movement.Limes is a German brand that is run and manufactured by the Ickler family out of Pforzheim Germany. help... watch stops on my winder.
Hello. I just acquired an early 2000s Seamaster 120 with caliber 1120 movement. The watch hasn't been serviced according to the previous owner. I will be getting this done sooner than later. Anyway, for Christmas, my wife gave me a Brookstone watch winder which I am now using. On about 1150 revs per day, my Rolex Sub stays perfectly wound and on time. Twice in the past week, I have come to find my Omega stopped on the winder. Both times I have hand wound between 40 and 50 turns. Within 10 or so turns, it starts up. I am afraid that the winder is not winding the watch. Everything I can find says it should be set for 600 to 800 TPD. At 1150 TPD, it is stopping. On a caliber 1120 movement, how many turns by hand is a full wind? I just assumed 40 to 50. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What would be considered a good discount on this piece - 10% ? 15, 20 % ? Thanks.

Walked in to my AD today, just for kicks, and he pulled this out. The diamonds aren't my cup of tea, but it sure is a sight to behold. Thought is share. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345238710.184456.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1345238731.816691.jpgCheers!
DAYDATE 18038 VS CURRENT MODELs
Hi,I'm looking forward to buy a pre-owned 18038 with custom leather strap. I searched online and did not find much info in terms of comparison. Can anyone let me know how both these models are different from each other and what precautions I'd need to take with this vintage watch if I end up buying it (in terms of water damage, scratches on face etc). Also any idea how much these watches cost in second hand market? Thanks for all your help.
