New Independent Watchmaker Fair in Geneva
From January 17-22, concurrent with SIHH, 29 independent watch brands and craftsmen will display their latest collections at the first Geneva Time Exhibition (GTE). The GTE is an effort by smaller, independent watch brands to pool their resources to battle the global economic crisis and to present their products together in an atmosphere designed for firms that are not members of the major groups. The first edition of GTE runs from Sunday, January 17 (opening 2 p.m.) through Friday, January 22. GTE will be held in the heart of Geneva at the International Geneva Conference Center (CICG), close to Place des Nations. First Look At Rocker Dan Spitz's Jeanrichard Aeroscope Limited Edition Watch
Toward the end of 2014, Jeanrichard will announce a limited edition watch produced in collaboration with rock-and-roller Dan Spitz. On his Facebook page today, Spitz previewed the prototype of the upcoming model that will be based on the Jeanrichard Aeroscope timepiece. Dan was wearing it on his wrist presumably at the pool in his Florida home. We know that Dan has been looking to partner with a watch brand for quite sometime. There is a lot of competition out there for your diving watch dollars. With so many options, it is hard for us to find that single diving watch that will suffice. Well, for me there is no one watch. Instead I try to stretch my budget out to acquire as many diving watches as I can to satisfy that insatiable hunger. So for that I am happy that Dievas has a nice range of aggressively prices diving watches that embody the modern chic-strong look that many diving watches are adopting.The Oceantimer 1330 Blue has...a metallic blue face, large red toned minute hand, and a striking legibility. The maximum sized minute hand is supposed to allow for supreme visibility under water, and just looks cool. While it is hard to tell in the images, the minute hand is a rich red metallic tone with lots of luminant in the middle. The smaller hour and seconds hand are while, also with luminant.The Dievas doesn't feel the need to make a "huge" watch, so the size of the Oceantimer 1330 is a very sober 42mm.

Hello,as I'm located in Thailand I would very much love a AD in Thailand. I have yet to find one through google - I only know the big boutiques. The trader I talked to quoted me about $37500 for a 26401RO which I believe is a fair price - but I can get back 7% VAT if I buy it in the boutique and it feels better. How do I find out what the price is without going there? (I'm currently on holiday)njkap

Hello everyone,First time poster... after dealing with me for 14 years and having 4 of my children I've decided I want to treat my wife to a nice watch. This is something she would never consider buying for herself or expect it but I know she will be thrilled and she deserves it. I've narrowed it down to a 36mm steel Datejust with a white Roman dial or the 36 Datejust with fluted bezel and diamond dial. I live in Chicago have have visited 2 ADs, one offered me no discount (I didn't push as I didn't like the salesperson) and the other offering 10-11%.I know I can get a better deal on here or grey dealer but I want this to be new so she could exchange if she wants to and she can go to the AD for fitting, sizing, extended warranty, cleaning, buffing, etc... what type of discount should I expect for these models? Im paying cash and both agreed to ship to my business out of state to save on taxes.Thanks in advance for the info!
