Linde Werdelin SpidoLite Family Watches
This new rose gold version of the Linde Werdelin SpidoLiteis DYNA-AMITE! And this DLC version of the super skeletonized case watch is OUTTA-SIGHT! Really, they are pretty cool, and I think took an interesting design to a much more luxurious place. The Original SpidoLite SA watch I reviewed here was more a stealth wealth watch. Interesting, but not showy enough for some people's tastes. The new Linde Werdelin SpidoLite Family watches are a brag worthy line of limited edition watches of the likes I've never seen before. No other company than Linde Werdelin that I know of is so able to take a watch, make simple but effective changes to it, and make it look like something else altogether. For basic details about the watches like size, about the vintage automatic mechanical movements, and such info please check out some of my other articles about the watch. I want to focus on what is new. One area of improvement both of these watches exhibit is better contrast between the hands and the dial.
Bernhardt Binnacle Retro Review
Bernhardt is one of those cult brands that people simply love. As you can read in our brand highlight on them from a little while ago, it's a small family run brand that puts an emphasis on customer service and the relationships they make with customers. In that way, they really are unique, even amongst the boutique brands, having the feeling more of a local corner store than an internet based company. The watches themselves are very modestly priced for modern day mechanicals, most coming in between $259 and $459. As such, they have a big following of devote fans who collect their affordable dive watches.Their newest watch, the Bernhardt Binnacle Retro, is also their most expensive at $679, which is still lower than where most brands start. As the name suggests, this watch is based on vintage divers, mainly of the 60's and 70's, by featuring a barrel case and dual crown design. It also features a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement inside, where as their other autos have Miyotas,

Ceramic vs carbotech
Would you rather own full ceramic (case and bracelet) Pam 438?Ceramic Pam 441?Or Carbotech Pam 661?My birthday is end of November and I am already planning a gift for 2018 lol. Just bought a 511 so no more watch for a year as per an agreement with the wifey !Anyway, I am leaning towards those three but am a bit concerned on the versatility of a full black watch. I really like the Tuttonero but wonder in the long run if the black on black, on black, might be too much with not enough pop and contrast. After all I am used to SS the most.So which one and why? Or is it better to stick with titanium and steel? Currently I only have a Pam 511 that I will NEVER sell as I am at last REALLY content with this one. My goal is to have a two watch collection. Thanks for reading, Sent from my A1601 using Tapatalk
Tudor Warranty - voided if from grey market???
See below for a pic of the Tudor warranty card I got with my recent Black Bay acquisition. What do you make of the line about, ...valid only if (1) the watch was sold to a consumer by the Official Tudor Jeweler whose name appears on the warranty card and (2) the warranty card is completely filled out by the Official Tudor Jeweler at the time of purchace ... void if any intervention by a third party...Does this mean if you buy the watch second hand, i.e. not from the Official Tudor Jeweler whose name appears on the warranty card, they will void the warranty? Is this an attempt to keep people from buying from a grey?
