A client gave me a gift
.omegawatches/spirit/l...h-time/summaryOne of my clients surprised me with a gift this week - Omega's Journey Through Time compendium! I was blown away, it was such a kind gesture on his part and a staggering book for an Omega buff. I highly recommend it if you were considering picking it up. It's 800 pages, 10 pounds, and illustrated to the extreme. Very little text, mostly images of watches, components, advertising and props. The scope is ridiculous, I've never seen ANY watch book cover as many models and variations from a single company.
Hi All
After lurking on this forum for ages, I finally took the plunge to register! A small introduction if I may? I'm an Englishman who left my home country almost 10 years ago to follow the dream in the US. After living in Chicago and Louisville, I now find myself just a shade south of Nashville. A long time watch lover, I own several Rollie's, a couple of Panerai and some Breitlings. Only having lived here for a few months, I've only been able to find a couple of PP dealers in the whole state. So, if anyone on here knows any others or a good, reputable used dealer, that would be great. I've always kept a side watch fund account, but have not touched it for a couple of years, and now really am into a PP or AP. One local dealer has a 5146J, which I adore, but even though it's new, it looks like it's been tried on by half of TN! Do you think that matters? Or am I just being stupid about wanting a sealed one? Furthermore, I've really enjoyed the hunt and am nervous of reaching its conclusion!!
Enjoying the London Sun
The sun is rare in the UK, however the nautilus loves the sun when it does appear.
Bracelet adjustment on a Nautalus 5711
Can you adjust the bracelet on a Nautalus 5711 without a special tool that only the AD has? My AD ( which is 3 hours away) told me they have a special machine to do it and it can't be done without it. I would like to adjust it without having to travel back to them. I just can't seem to get the right fit. It seems like I may need a half link or something. Do people find the bracelet more comfortable with the extra link on the 12:00 or 6:00 side? To me it seems to lay better with the extra link on the 12:00 side ,but feel better with the extra link on the 6:00 side. Am I just letting my OCD get to me ?
