Marvin Launches Sebastien Loeb Collection
Marvin Watch Co. has partnered with seven time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb to launch a limited edition collection of chronographs designed by Loeb. Available with automatic or quartz movements and black or white dials, the Sebastien Loeb collection incorporates automotive-inspired design details to combine the performance of world rallying with precision Swiss watchmaking. The 44mm stainless steel case features articulating lugs mounted on spring suspensions, allowing the watch to adjust to the contours of the wrist for maximum comfort. Loeb designed the dial to reflect the dashboard of his rally car. The black PVD chronograph push buttons resemble foot pedals, and the hands evoke a rally car's reinforcing bars.Paying homage to his seven world championship titles, Marvin's Sebastien Loeb pieces are available in a limited edition collection of 777 pieces. The automatic-winding chronograph features a Valjoux 7750 movement which is visible through Marvin's signature skeleton caseb

Many believe?that no watch collection is complete without a Rolex. Admittedly, there are brands which update their collections and models more frequently C which is perhaps not saying much C but the brand is steeped in history and their watches are built to very high and exacting standards. The problem, however, is: should you get a vintage one or a modern one? On one hand, vintage Rolex watches are arguably sexier; but on the other hand, modern Rolex watches are built with the latest in watchmaking technology and are extremely reliable. While perhaps there is no one?answer to this question, below we present you with?some opinions with regard to this conundrum. With 2014 over,?we take the opportunity to take a closer look at some cool?watches that were released last year. In the case of this round-up, these pieces are?Bulgari's amazing L'Ammiraglio Del Tempo Minute Repeater Detent Escapement watch and Tudor's extremely cool Heritage Black Bay Blue. Incoming...5167a!
Well, I'm officially hooked! Second Patek Philippe from my AD, and in less than three months! Received my 5711/1a at the first of the year, and now just received my 5167a!I know at first glance these two are similar pieces with the movement, size, and bezel. But they wear and look very different in the flesh. And this may be sacrilegious to say, but I think I like the 5167 even more than the 5711! It doesn't photograph as well as the Nautilus, but it's stunning in person! I wear shorts, t-shirts/polos and flip flops most every day and the Aquanaut goes with that lifestyle perfectly. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier! Coupled with my 114060, I think I'm set (for a while, haha!) with my 3 watch mini-collection. And this forum has been so educational and knowledgeable about brands and references, without being condescending to others with different opinions. I appreciate the insight and I'm grateful to be a member here on TRF!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Patek gifts?
Just wondering who makes the patek things like belts and ties etc? Just got a tie and a reversible belt, which seems pretty nice.
Which Nautilus is a better buy?
I've been going back and forth between 5711 and 5712. I'm waiting on AD to get both of them in and hopefully decide at that point. However, I was wondering which one of these do you think is a better buy? 5712 for $28,0005711 for $24,000Thanks
