Watch Shootout: IWC Ingenieur 40mm 3239 vs. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 8500
Contributed for watches-dealer by Dnes AlbertSince I became addicted to watches around the turn of the millennium I spent a lot of time perusing watch forums and sites dedicated to watch reviews. I picked up a lot of useful, if not expert-grade or properly structured information along the way. One thing I found myself increasingly interested in were in-depth comparisons of watch A vs. watch B. This is not to say that standalone watch reviews don't have their merits or place. Royal Oak 15400 Strap Conversion and parts number
So I went to AP Tokyo today and they have all the parts for 15400 conversion to rubber or leather strap in stock. The entire thing cost roughly 1400 but I bought extra rubber strap on top of the leather strap. This post is to share parts number needed for itMod. If this kind of info isn't allow feel free to remove it
New to me 2220.8
My first real timepiece! A buddy of mine has been eyeing another watch for a while now and decided to get rid of this to help fund it. I was saving up for a PO, but the price was too good to pass on. The crystal is in perfect shape, but the band could use some polishing. No biggie. I absolutely love this watch! Sorry, pic isn't too great.
How long does a new Rolex stay within the -2/+2 accuracy?
I know that the new Rolex standard is -2/+2 accuracy right out of the factory. But how long is a modern Rolex supposed to maintain this accuracy? Is it part of the 5 year Rolex warranty?Does anyone know?
Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 Half Link
Quick question about obtaining another half link for my Sea-Dweller 126600. Is an AD the only place to go to get one or would I be able to call Rolex direct? I do not have a Rolex AD near by and would really love to purchase another 1/2 link to obtain the perfect fit with the diver extension intact. Any info would be greatly appreciated
