I'm newly interested in ap and was wondering if ADs tend do discount on watches like the royal oak? If so, what sort of discounts can you expect?
Omega mesh - can it get small enough for my wrist?
Looking at getting some 20mm mesh. First off- where can I even get it? Preowned is all I can think of. My wrist is about 6 inches. Here is a pic of how long the bracelet is sized for my wrist. You guys think it'd look good on this watch, and is it size able down to my girth? Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Would or wouldn't you
I currently have a 5127R, which I use as my days off piece and a 5167A for work and swimming etc.As I suspect with many of us the hunt can be more fun then actually achieving the goal. For the past few months, I have been looking to get something else. And my choices have varied from a Rolex Day Date, FP Journe, Lange & Sohne and also back to Patek Philippe. With the Patek I was looking, as per a previous thread to get a 5146P. I half expected them to come back and say yes and that they would offer X amount for mine and I would have to make up the difference in cash. But much to my surprise they offered me 2,300 more for mine then theirs. Which would make a nice chang
Painting a dial?
I saw this on Instagram, from creodesignwatchesTo me, it looks good. But, what say the others on the forum? Does this make the Rolex worth more or less?I'm thinking less, but curious about your opinions.
How does your AD deal with issues?
So I purchased a second watch recently from an AD, and it wasn't to my expectations (crown appeared not to always engage position 2 or 3, date seemed to change at 2am intermittently). If you purchased a new watch and it had issues from new, would you expect your AD to replace or refund, or offer a repair in the first couple of days of ownership?1. Would you expect a replacement if available2. Would you expect a refund3. Would you be happy with a repair
