Watches NEWS
The Omega Speedmaster X-33
Say Hi to the Omega Speedmaster X-33. Introduced in 1998, this is one amazing watch. Omega literally flight (and crash) tested it with NASA and military pilots, experimenting with several design iterations before settling on and shipping two commercial versions. It was designed for pilots and space flight, and is rated by NASA for the mission to Mars. Without a doubt, this is one of the coolest and most interesting analog-digital watches ever made.
AP vs.... VC & PP
Stopped by to check out the other players ... The tourneau guy was trying to convince me that the VC had an in house movement =)The PP... well, for $67k it caught my eyeThe Genta boys...I love this braceletCheers!
Discount on Breitling
Hi everyone! As you guys are already experienced in this matter, i wonder what would be the best discount, a first time buyer could get in purschase of a Breitling Chronomat Evolution (in an authorized dealer). This will be my first luxury watch, so i dont have any record in stores, but i heard ADs can offer a discount when negotiated.. please let me know if this is true!Thank you so much for your time, it will help a lot!My wallet also sends regards
Advise needed.....
Can anyone advise me how to submit a request for an extract from Patek's archives? I filled out the request form on their site, and first attempted to email it to the address on the site, however it was returned twice as an unknown address. I then attempted to fax it, also to the number provided by Patek, only to receive a busy signal time and again. Is snail mail the only real option? Thanks.
Advice on selling my Tudor BBB
So, you can see over there < that I've only racked up a few posts on this forum, which poses a problem because I'm looking for the safest way to sell my Tudor Black Bay Bronze. I bought my first grown up watch (a GMT II) this last Fall and then went bonkers buying follow-up goodies in a frenzy. I've since slowed, and want to thin the herd a bit. I've now bought 4 watches, and the BBB is the only one I bought used. I've looked at a bajillion FS ads here to try to get more info, but I need insight from some of you forum veterans. Here are my questions:- will anyone take my FS ad seriously on this forum if I have no history here?- should I be worried about scammers if I'm the seller?- would I face the same kind of scrutiny on chrono24?- what can I do to prove trustworthy to potential buyers? Thanks in advance, y'all.
