Watches NEWS
Finally got a Speedy Pro! (And too many pictures.)
I can't believe I waited this long, what a cracking watch. I bought the new 005 (hesalite) model, which I know some say is expensive, and partly paying for a useless box, but I got it at a very good price from a non-authorised dealer (I can live without the AD 500+ cup of tea!), and the box of goodies does add a bit to the experience. I do think this watch is good value regardless, compared to most other luxury watches anyway. I'm really pleased I went for the hesalite version - the dial is surprisingly clear as a result, although I don't really notice the often talked about attractive distortion (which seems about the same as a sapphire box crystal to me). It's well built and nicely finished, fits me beautifully in my opinion and is super comfortable as a result, and so far at least keeps really good time (+5 s/d).
Omega ?
Nothing like a old 70's Omega on a vintage gold NATO strap !!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Or any manual wind watch for that matter? This question occurs with astonishing and cyclically recurring frequency in internet watch forums. And this is even despite that most every forum offers a search function that could produce dozens of relevant threads that would dispatch the question neatly before it were even raised (again). The recurrence of questions like this is among the reasons forums ceased to be as much fun and I've mostly retreated from watch fora, especially after once seeing threads posing this sam
Look what I found at my AD!
This beautiful 5167/A just came in. What an awesome timepiece! I purchased one last year from the same AD, and they were very kind to me. I absolutely love my 5167. If anybody is interested, PM me and I will share the name and phone of the General Manager.
